17.01.2022 Noi Nah's story. Noi Nah (meaning Custard Apple) arrived to ENP on June 19th 2015. Her age is about 70 years old. She was rescued from trekking where she was b...eing used daily to give rides, despite being emaciated her both eyes are blind. In the past, Noi Nah also worked in logging and illegal logging before being used in trekking to have tourist ride on her back. Upon arrival to ENP, Noi Nah was put on a special diet and has gained weight so fast. She has lots of energy and moves quickly. She lives so peacefully now at #ElephantNaturePark We feed her with love and make her feel hope for life. When she feels safe, she can relax and play like another elephants. She started her new life and blossom again. Her rescue was documented for #LoveAndBananas. "Love & Bananas" works on two levels, spreading awareness about the plight of Asian elephants and the damage that tourist activities like elephant treks wreak, as well as documenting Noi Nah's journey to her forever home.
