23.01.2022 The Weare Gallery is currently showing some of the work of French Artist Anais Pitalier, who was recently at the Tasmanian Craft Fair. 04.01.2022 Congratulations to Robyn Weare for winning the "Essence of the Valley" section of the 2012 Meanderings Art Competition last night at the Country Club Casino in Launceston. Robyn's Watercolour "Meander Wetlands " was decribed by the judges as having " a sense of openness.Typifies the flood basin of the Meander River. Leads you into the distance . Technically good, stable, peaceful. Dark leads in to the distance. Resolved.". The "Essence of the Valley " section was chosen from all entries in all other sections (Best Natural Watercolour, Best Agriculture, Best People of the Valley, Best Heritage). Robyn also framed several of the paintings in the exhibition, including the winner of the Encouragement Award.
