21.01.2022 We hope you are all having a great year so far and enjoy autumn! We have been a bit quiet - spending time outdoors, travelling, beaching, climbing. Back in late October, we took a R.O.C. baking steel camping, put it straight onto the hot coals, works a treat for frying up food and I even heated my tea. All our plates (except griddles) will be back in stock in March 2019. We also have a couple of new sizes and will share them once they are ready.

10.01.2022 1cm thickness plates are heavy duty and weigh a fair bit at 11kg approx. I'm often asked about the handle and I say it's a design feature since both the Clean Cut and Easy to Handle designs give you the same awesome baking results. The Easy to Handle looks cool and unlike any other pizza baking steel plate design. It's really easy to handle when you need to move it. ... But if you are like me a lot of the time I leave my plates in the oven or on stove top. So when you buy Clean Cut or Easy to Handle just choose the shape you prefer and one that will fit in your oven/bbq. Happy baking

10.01.2022 We started making our own organic wholemeal/rye sourdough bread recently and loving it. We are using 1cm thick steel plate to bake. We aren't experts but love baking our own bread at home. So many ways to do it and R.O.C. Baking Steel is one of the many great tools that will help.

03.01.2022 I have two Steels from these guys and they are AMAZING! The trick for the ultimate Pizza at home in my opinion is two pizza steels. Half bake on one and second half of the bake on the other. It keeps the heat on the bottom of the pizza and gives it a great bottom :)
