17.01.2022 A guide to thriving in recession for privately held businesses. Business owners and managers have probably never faced such a period of change and uncertainty as we are currently seeing. There is economic turmoil around every corner. We question how we will survive the immediate challenges let alone those yet to come. How do we protect everything we have worked so hard to build? How do we build a resilience for the future? For many of us business owners, our current business ...represents the result of long term and well-honed skills, combined with a primary desire to be our own boss and make our own way in this world. This often means that we may not have gone through the rigorous process of examining our business idea which is undertaken by large listed enterprises. This need not necessarily be an issue, after all the big boys can get it wrong too. But the bottom line is that there is a good reason why big businesses spend significant amounts of time and money to ensure they have a robust business model, (which we call your business’ Valuable Formula), that guarantees ongoing financial reward. This book offers a timely, clear and concise way for a privately held business to re-examine itself, to identify the key elements of its success, to develop strategies for ensuring its survival during economic turmoil, and ultimately to build a plan for thriving in the present and the future. https://rocg.com/weathering-the-storm/ And don’t forget! We are here to support you and help you navigate through the current stormy times towards a better and brighter future. Kind Regards The team at ROCG Mornington

14.01.2022 Dear Clients, Friends and Associates Here at ROCG Mornington we are taking the developing COVID-19 situation very seriously and are being extra cautious with our hygiene & cleaning processes. Unless we are advised otherwise by the appropriate authorities, our office will continue to remain open during business hours.... Should you need to drop off any documentation but wish to not have any physical contact we completely understand and therefore we will now have a storage container at our office just inside the front door where you can place your documents which we will then collect shortly thereafter. The storage container will be monitored by our security cameras. Should you require a meeting with any of our team members we are always available to run web based meetings where we can share our computer screens to review and discuss your personal and business affairs over a secure platform. We want to assure you that no matter what goes on we are here to help you through this time. In this respect, should we be required, we have already implemented work from home procedures (including answering our normal phone numbers) and have also implemented the facility of video meetings should it be needed. If you have any concerns or would like to discuss the Government Coronavirus Stimulus Package and what it means for you and your business then please contact our office at your convenience. Kind Regards The Team at ROCG Mornington

09.01.2022 Good Morning, We are pleased to advise we have now uploaded all relevant current Government Assistance Packages (Federal & State) on our ROCG website https://rocg.com/covid-19/ . It is our intention to continually update this site as the relevant details of each stimulus measure becomes clearer as regards to its operation or as it is revised. You will note the date attached to each package is the currency of the advice.... We draw your attention to the Job Keeper Package, which was announced on 29th March which provides for a payment of $1,500 per fortnight per employee to businesses that employ. We stress that businesses that don’t employ will be able to also access this package, but at this stage we are not clear on how it will be applied. ROCG has already made application for State Government Assistance for some clients (maximum $10,000 per business that employs) and should you require clarification or assistance to access the grant then please contact your ROCG Principal or Client Service Manager. Finally, if you have already registered your business’ interest for the Job Keeper Package with the ATO, please advise us at [email protected] to enable us to track the applications, AND ensure every eligible ROCG managed business has access to their full entitlements.
