25.01.2022 To the 13s and 14s congratulations on making to grandfinals. To make it to a grandfinal its always a lifetime dream, it might only come around once in a life time. So today when you go out there enjoy the moment,feel the team spirit and wear your jerseys with pride. Win or lose you have made your dreams come true. 25.01.2022 XMAS FOOD FUNDRAISING DRIVE. A lot of families have been doing it tough this year. We as a club would like to help out families in our community. So we are asking for donations to make up Xmas hampers of non perishable items. This can be tin items,shampoo,conditioner, laundry,snacks, lollies, Xmas decorations,bon bons etc. Donations can be dropped at club, opening the 16th nov 4.30pm to 6.30pm, Monday,Wednesday,Friday and saturdays 10am to 12pm for drop offs. All donations ...need to be in by the 4th dec so we can make up the hampers, and distribute to chaplians at our local schools. In these hard times the club want to help our families in the community. 23.01.2022 The club is all set for opens semi final tomorrow lots of work done. Canteen and Bar full stocked. Field marked,fencing up couple of changes inside, signage done. 22.01.2022 WEEKEND WRAP UP a long one. What a,sunday it was. 8.30am canteen going off with bacon and egg burger see best in town. Thanks Emma. 9.am seen our 13s kick off against souths, needed to win this game to given them a chance to make a granfinal what a nerve wrecking,finger biting game down to the last 10 minutes tigers dug deep winning 34 to 32. Know wait for the results from the springwood/ logan game. Thanks logan brothers putting us through. Well deserved win by our 13s Grand... Final here we come. 10.30am the 14s turn another game needed to win, win is exactly what they done 40 to 6 they wanted and needed this. Depending on logan brothers to win to put us through and thanks gos to logan brothers and 14s through to Grand Final 2 years in a row. 12pm our 16s played their last game for the season and a sad goodbye to Shane their coach. Thanks for all the dedication to rugby league and our club. 18s had a forfeit and a wrap for them. To have a nev blair side at the club was very exciting the season didnt go the way you wanted but was still great to watch. We would like to thank all the parents that have volunteered their time on the gate,canteen,duty officaling in this covid time without your help our club wouldn't have opened. 19.01.2022 Saturday wrapup. We hosted semi finals today and I must say what a great bunch of players, played within the spirit of the game, and the spectors were awesome. Redlands, St brendans and souths acacia all won. I need to thanks a few people who helped throughout the day. 1st Damien our best duty official and handy man. Suzanne Lawrence my right hand lady. Liz the best scorer a club could have. Cheryle bar, and money lady, chantelle duty official, go to person. Claire coffee la...dy and Bar chick. Emma our cook. Lynley the lady who gets in and does whatever you want. Emily garbo lady. Alana and Amy on point in the canteen. Vu 6s coach worked to 5.am this morning but still came and gave us a hour of his time. Francis doing his duty official duties. Our president frank who worked tirelessly yesterday and today to make our field look awesome and our club extra safe. To the players who came and spent all day doing jobs. Ball Boys jed, kobi and ayden, sign in desk and helped clean up at the end of the day josh,zac and Deon. Tara who helped the boys, cleaned coffee machine and help pull down the field. Kiahana my little helper in the morning putting signs out. To the ladies who fed and watered me so I didnt leave my seat. Aaron yes its Christine who does the weekend wrap ups. Thank you team for all you help without you helping today wouldnt jave gone ahead. Our level 2 first aid officer all day in that sun.. 19.01.2022 Its with great sadness to let you know that one of our long time life members Wayne cox sadly passed away yesterday. Wayne's son Gary has been coaching at the club for a long time. Wayne's grandson kiahan plays in the 13s. Our deepest condolences to the cox family thinking of you all from the Tigers committee and families.

16.01.2022 GRANDFINAL WRAP UP. 13S we heard it was a great game and the boys tried their best was pretty on par until the last 10 minutes. Beenleigh had gone undefeated or maybe lost 1 game all season. The boys done a wonderful job might not have won but will always be winners to us. The club is very proud of your efforts today. 14s another very tight game played their hearts out. Full time they were 12 all. Having to play another 10 minutes in that heat was a big ask. Redcliffe won by a point but took nothing away from this teams always winners. The club is very proud of what you achieved today. Not everyone plays in a grandfinal. 13.01.2022 Saturday presentation day. A little different from previous years. 6s through to 11s were 10.am to 12pm but was all done by 11.am then on to the rides for the kids. So a little break until the 13 to 18s start at 1pm. #mickdebrenni# sports minister announced a grant we got to have the ceiling in clubhouse done in the off season. Frank announced a $35,000 grant from gaming and liquor for security of clubhouse and grounds. A $1,000 donation from #Helena #tupila whos sons who we...re past players at the club, entered a Smith chips competition to donate to a local club and she won. Thanks heaps Helena. Then in was the older teams turn 13,14,16s then the rain started. Jack maller and Jesse Adams 15 years service awards both have played at club. Jack has been a referee,leaguesafe and first aid. Jesse player and leaguesafe. Well done boys a few more years and it could be life members. Seen Shane maller 16s coach retire after 22 years service at the club as a player,coach,managered the building of the changerooms, fix things and build things throughout the years, played in league of legends. Will be missed thanks for everything you have done for the club and teams. We moved to the balcony for the 18s where a trophy from easts for a player who was most likely to go further with their footy and this went to Will Hobbs ive never seen another player with so much heart,passion and dedication to a game or team then this young man. Congratulations will hope to see you play with the big boys in years to come the young man with the firey red hair. Next up was volunteer of the year award and hands down this went to Damien who has helped throughout the season. He has been a massive help to us with setting up,pulling down field,duty official, fixing stuff and much more congratulations Damien. Then is was time for a drink. The year has been so different to any other year with covid. Would like to thank all our players and especially our parents who volunteered each week without you our doors would have been closed. To our committee for your tireless work each week. To be named the number 1 club for all the work done to get ready for the covid season was achievement and everyone should be so proud. To hold junior grandfinals and be the biggest attendance ever in junior league it was a massive day. Thanks to our president and secretary for all that they do to make sure we were a safe club to come and play the game we all love. 2021 will see us be bigger and better. Thanks again to you all. 13.01.2022 Weekend wrap up. 13s friday night against logan brothers probably one of the best games I've watched all year so much sportsmanship. A drawn game 14 all. Great kids and parents. 14s on Saturday not the result they wanted. 16s had a massive challenge to play top of the ladder. Get them next time. 18s with players out and not coming and only 13 players its to hard to play nev Blair with only 13 players. Its been a learning season for this team. ... Next weekend games see our 4 international teams play on sunday starting with the 13s at 9.am early start. So come along and cheers them on and grab the best bacon and eggs in rochedale.
