Please take note that the club is not open on Christmas Day, we will be back in business on Saturday (Boxing Day) George’s Bistro will be taking a much needed break until the 2nd January, returning for dinner service. We do however, have some new restrictions we have to adhere to, to ensure the safety of all our customers and staff. *All customers visiting Rockdale Tennis Club must be wearing a mask except for when eating and drinking.... *Drinking while standing is no longer allowed. *Our capacity will revert to the 1 person per 4 square meter ruling to ensure social distancing. *All staff within our club will be wearing masks. *Increased cleaning within the club. *Masks will be provided for anyone entering that does not have a mask. We are, at this stage still holding our weekly raffles.

07.01.2022 Frequently asked questions.... YES! We are open! ... YES! The bistro is open! NO! The bistro is not taking bookings at the moment! NO! You can’t book a court with us- you must call the pro shop YES! We are open for business and we’re looking forward to seeing you. Strict distancing is enforced but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a schooner or a meal.

06.01.2022 THANK YOU! We'd like to take this opportunity to thank a few local businesses for their generous support through ClubGRANTS. This funding will allow us to off...er 10 local residents (in each region) the chance to participate in our 8-week exercise coaching program for just $15 per week. Inner West ClubGRANT thanks to Petersham RSL and Canterbury-Hurlstone Park RSL Club. Bayside Council ClubGRANT thanks to Rockdale Tennis Club, Kingsgrove RSL Club and EBP RSL CLUB (Earlwood Bardwell Park RSL Club) Their contributions could make all the difference to help someone get back on their feet through exercise. Eligible individuals will be 18-65 years old, low income or unemployed and experiencing mental ill health.

06.01.2022 PLEASE TAKE NOTE Sunday 29th of November(only) Rockdale Tennis Club & George’s Bistro Will be opening at 12pm.... This is due to our Annual General Meeting being held. Anyone that has not attended this meeting, will not be able to enter the club until 12pm. Thanks for your patience.

06.01.2022 Members & guests. As of the 1st of January 2021, the NSW GOVERNMENT has made it mandatory for everyone to sign in, on their phone but you must have the service NSW app on your phone and scan the QR code at every venue. Being a CLUB, we still must sign you in on our system (INFOSIGN) and you also MUST scan the QR code upon entry, this MUST be shown to the person at the door. ... Please be patient with us as we adjust to these new regulations.

04.01.2022 We’re COVID safe! We take pride on the way we are handling the restrictions here at the club, to ensure our staff and patrons are safe.

04.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder to our community As you may remember not all that long ago, in 2020, ALL clubs and pubs were shut. No schooners, ... no poker machines, no gambling, no catching up for drinks with friends, no night out for dinner. No jobs Then the government allowed them all to open back up BUT with restrictions !!! limited group numbers, keeping 1.5 meter distancing, No mingling, The big one YOU MUST REMAIN SEATED AT ALL TIMES IN ALL AREAS no exception. So when you walk into your next licensed premises and you roll your eyes because you have to stop to give your details and contact number, please remember, we are just doing our jobs to try stay open for YOU. Don't be that person who has to be constantly told to keep seated or question why you have to sign in and out of the club and frustrate the staff for doing their job. The government has put in these restrictions and we MUST follow them in order to stop any spread in clubs and pubs, so we don't once again loose our jobs and you can continue to enjoy a cold schooner with your mates. We’re in this together!
