14.05.2022 Thankyou Jarred Ash and Ryan Harris for putting together a memorial to Dad on Saturday night at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway and providing us with these memories There were plenty of tears from heaven before the meeting started as rain passed through on the first meeting that dad has missed. Rodney raced with a heavy heart but dad would have been smiling down on the great racing. ... #Forever82 https://youtu.be/H6flEaZ062U

09.05.2022 We really hope the wet weather continues to avoid the track as the club are doing a memorial for Dad tonight at the Modified Sedan series round Thankyou to Wade and Jacki Cunningham DTS Signs & TShirts for making Rodney’s car a tribute to Dad and some stickers for the competitors in his memory. We really appreciate the kind and generous gesture.

23.03.2022 The Politch family rolled into the yard with Mitch’s Modlite stickered up in a tribute to Grandad The entire family is blown away by the caring thought and the effort required to make it all happen at short notice. Mitch has always been so proud to race with Grandad’s number #82 and loved making him proud on the track and we will miss him terribly each and every race meeting. Thanks Wade DTS Signs & TShirts for making time to do this at the last minute while also trying t...o get your own race car ready. Thankyou just doesn’t seem enough for the Politch family. We are beyond grateful. Mitch, Rodney and Nathan Politch are racing in Maryborough tonight for the Modlite series round.

20.03.2022 Bryan Michael Burke 14/1/40 - 14/2/22 Forever 82 We lost our team’s greatest supporter ... Our patriarch from where our love of speedway all began. And fittingly some of our greatest love and support has come from our speedway family. We are all blessed with one of Australia’s greatest Speedway tracks built by him and a bunch of his friends. It was so great to see those friendships continue right through and they were always together at meetings watching the racing. We will farewell Dad 10am Tuesday 22/2/22 at Our Lady of Lourdes Leonie Burke

26.01.2022 Kings Royal 2022

24.01.2022 Big thanks to the Politch family for the opportunity to run the Modlites tonight Hi-Tec Oils Speedway. It will be Mason’s first run in a senior division and it’s pretty special to have Rodney racing with his 2 boys.

21.01.2022 3 weeks to get this brand new car built. It will be so good to see Mason get back out on the track in his Mirage. Rodney and Mason have done an awesome job and put a lot of hours in the shed after Christmas. Thanks to Nathan Politch & Phoebe for the endless hours of help in the shed, Dennis at Toowoomba Steering and Suspension for his ongoing sponsorship and Wade at Downs Tinting & Signs for the quick turnaround on another awesome looking wrap. He will try get some laps in this afternoon at Gatton (hopefully before the rain comes) and then will head to Kings Royal next weekend.

21.01.2022 Complete team package for Nathan Politch and the Edge Racing Australia Modlites!! We can't wait for Season 2020/21 to start. A big thank you to DTS Signs & TSh...irts for their work in applying our work. Modlites Queensland Modlites Australia

20.01.2022 Modifieds were cancelled at Tbar due to the weather so Rodney’s a late nomination off the rear at Maryborough for the Modlites 1st series round. Mitch is back in the 82 and Mase is taking a night off. Mitch won heat 1 then a shower of rain came through. After a short break the meeting is continuing

19.01.2022 Ash Media delivering the memories

18.01.2022 Making the most of the ‘off-season’ Special thanks to Dennis Bullpitt from Toowoomba Steering & suspension especially with all the effort he’s putting into promoting local businesses lately and raising awareness of supporting mates who are struggling.

18.01.2022 Night 1 of 4 in the Modified Sedan

16.01.2022 Night 4 (final night) of the Modified Sedan series

16.01.2022 When you can race with the best you know you’re doing a ripper job Mitch I don’t think Rodney will get the #18 Hornet back

07.01.2022 MODLITES ARE BACK IN THE BEEF CITY! 22 OF THE BEST IN THE COUNTRY Don't miss the MODLITES QUEENSLAND STATE TITLE at McCosker Rocky Speedway - 15 February 2020... #14daystogo Want to know who's competing and some goss on each of them? We got the scoop below. Q3 Callum Beerling Q5 Luke Fraser Q7 Jadyn Stone Q12 Klinton Hancey Q13 Racheal Jenkins Q17 Neil Gregson Q19 Joel Smith Q21 Casey Collins Q22 Kurt Grambower Q23 Abi Meehan Q25 Terry Leerentveld Q28 Chris Fing Q33 Pacey Clegg Q41 Dakota Laverty Q46 Aidan Raymont Q48 Nathan Politch Q51 Nik Keeley Q56 Sean Rose Q64 Rodney Pammenter Q66 Sean Butcher Q74 Sam Gollschewsky Q82 Mitch Pammenter #46 Aidan Raymont a Top Gun Modified Sedan driver, has nominated in the Menz Modlite and will be looking to add another Title to his collection. The competition will be fierce, especially if Raymont performs like he did recently, at the Kings Royal where he showed very impressive talent fighting it out with Kye Walters for the crown. #12 Klinton Hancey, a Modlite and V8 Dirt Modified Racer is one of the most decorated drivers around, he is a multiple Title holder including Australian, Qld, NSW, SA, WA & VIC Championships in Modlites. Klinton is not one to let a title go without a fight. #25 Terry Leerentveld another Modlite and V8 Dirt Modified driver with a lot of notches in his belt, including Australian, Qld, NSW and SA Championships in Modlites. Terry is hungry for another win and has the skill to take it out. #56 Sean Rose is the current defending Qld Champion in Modlites, and the talented driver who also peddles a sprintcar, will be wanting to retain his Modlite Qld title. #74 Sam Gollschewsky who is fresh from taking out numerous Feature Wins in the modlite ranks will be a very real contender for the title. Sam has had some very impressives wins and will be very impressive in the Gold and Black machine! #48 Nathan Politch has shown he has the goods to take out the title and will be up among the top runners fighting it out for the win. #17 Neil Gregson has the speed, skill and No Fear factor to go right round the outside of the lot. He will be hoping for a trouble free night. #22 Kurt Grambower while he might be the quiet type he certainly lets you know he's there on the track! He's quick and capable. So is very much a contender for the title. #19 Joel Smith has shown he has what it takes to get on the podium. With a very quick car and great driving ability he will be one to watch. #21 Casey Collins won the Qld Junior Sedan Title last time he was racing at Rocky Speedway. So with a great track record in Modlites this young gun will certainly be up the pointy end of the field looking for the win. #64 Rodney Pammenter & #82 Mitch Pammenter the father son combo are a very talented duo. Mitch has inherited his dads talent for moving through the field to get the win. These two drivers are impressive and well worth putting your money on. #66 Sean Butcher not only has a famous name to live up to with his father & mother both champion drivers in speedway. But he has shown he's got what it takes as well. With luck on his side and a trouble free run could very well see him take out the win. #23 Abi Meehan is looking forward to her first State title in the Modlite class. With plenty to learn yet but improving each meeting she isn't known as Miss Consistent for nothing. With a 99% track record of always finishing races. #13 Rachael Jenkins recently proved she can mess with the best after some impressive racing in the Modlite Mayhem Series. Having raced in several different classes of speedway she will certainly be out to impress. #41 Dakota Laverty better known as the "Queen". She is currently the title holder of Queen of Karts in Speedway Karts and most recently came 2nd in the Queens Royal in sedans. With a very heavy right foot this young lady will be piloting the Sean Egan modlite at the Qld Title. #28 Chris Fing who has an ex Australian Modified Production Championship under his belt has his eye on one thing, and that's the win. He's very competitive, and has a fast & furious approach to racing. With only a handful of race meetings in the modlite class he's already proven he's got what it takes. #7 Jadyn Stone is one of those drivers that has come outta nowhere! He has only had a brief time in speedway but has now become very fast and can sneak up on you and be past before you even know he's there. #3 Callum Beerling and #33 Pacey Clegg another two new drivers this season have quickly adapted to the Modlites. Both with a passion for the win, they will both want to be up the front in the feature. #51 Nik Keeley a young gun that has had alot of bad luck lately. But is quick and capable to mix it amongst the rest. #5 Luke Fraser driving one of the Sean Rose team cars has mastered speedway very quickly. Fresh from road racing Luke will be out to get some impressive results. MODLITES QUEENSLAND STATE TITLE at McCOSKER ROCKY SPEEDWAY 15 February 2020 See you all there!

06.01.2022 Congrats Nathan on the win Nice to see you have a good run again - 2 heat wins and the feature win. Rodney had steering issues all night after making contact with Mitch in heat one but battled on and finished 5th earning the hard charger award. Mitch finished 7th. A great result for the team overall, a fun weekend with our Speedway family just missing Mason ... Ash Media did a fantastic job on the new team shirts Thanks to the Politch family and Pacific Petroleum

05.01.2022 CLASSIC HIGHLIGHT | Check out the A-Main from the Modified Sedan Allstar Series at Roma Speedway on the 24th of November 2012! You can watch the full race meeting on ash-media.com for just $11.99 per month! Just like 'Netflix' for Speedway, Every Lap of Every Race!!

05.01.2022 Not how you want to debut a brand new car The Hornet was showing great speed and going for the lead when contact ended Rodney’s run. He’s now got a big week ahead to repair the car before the Qld title at Gympie next weekend. Mitch and Mason were running mid pack in the feature when Mase got caught up with a car that had spun and damaged his front end. Mitch pulled in at the same time with steering issues. Mason adjusted to the Modlite super well and was racey straight up. Nathan Politch was the only team car to finish and came from rear to almost a podium, ending up in 4th.

04.01.2022 The Kings Royal format is pretty cool when Rodney can start night 3 back in 42nd and get up 6th in the A. A big thankyou to Paul Smith and Mick Shelford for generously donating some fresh rubber after their massive rollover destroyed their weekend. Rodney won the hard charger award when he wheeled his way through the dashes, survived the Bmain and started at the back of the A and moved up towards the front of the A before retiring with a split fuel tank. Mason got 5th in th...e Junior Top Stars feature, wrestling his car home with no power steering. Mitch finished 11th in the Modlite feature, just pipped by Rodney on the line in 10th. A big thank you to the Politch family for the run in the Modlites and for all their help over the weekend. Thanks Mitch, Mason, Beau Smithwick, Nathan Politch & Thomas Fuller for all their work on the final night of racing, in particular to get back out the feature. The car was awesome and could run anywhere in the feature. Thanks to the ongoing support of our sponsors: Toowoomba Steering & suspension Downs Tinting & Signs Hot Water World PS Designer Homes

03.01.2022 An early morning parts delivery required to Kingaroy so decided to bring the car with and have a run at the back of the pack Thanks to Wade & Jacki DTS Signs for the new wrap And Dennis Bullpitt Toowoomba Steering & suspension for his ongoing support

03.01.2022 Mitch is ready for a practice run at Charlton with Nathan Politch. Big thanks to the Politch family for a great opportunity and an awesome looking race car. Ash Media and DTS Signs & TShirts

03.01.2022 Nathan Politch #48 Rodney #18 Mitch #64 in Mase’s car Tonight is the next round of the Modlite series. ... Rodney was meant to be doing double duty with round 2 of the Modified Series but #8 is too broken. See more

02.01.2022 With Modlites Qld cancelling the rest of the season amidst these challenging times and calling the season point series a non-event, we wanted to take the opportunity to thank the Politch family for the chance they’ve given us to race their cars. Nathan & Rodney had a great season sitting first and second in the points to date. They did a fantastic job to get both cars to the top considering the close competition in this class and Mitch has had a lot of fun and learnt heaps, scoring his first heat win recently. He’s transitioned from juniors really well. We are grateful for the opportunities they have so kindly given our family.

01.01.2022 2019-2020 RACE SEASON RESULTS With the early finish to the last race season and the restrictions set in place. Modlites Qld Annual Trophy Dinner was unable to t...ake place! Our next plan was to present the trophy's to the drivers in front of the crowd at Gympie Speedway after our Qld Modlite State Title was run. Well we all know how that panned out! We made the decision to not hang onto these well earned trophy's anymore and finally handed out the last one on Saturday night. Modlites Queensland would like to congratulate the following drivers for their awesome accomplishments in our short 19-20 Season. As well congratulations to all the other Modlite drivers for supporting the race meetings & series. 2019-2020 ULTIMATE DRIVER 1st: Joel Smith - 5391 Points 2nd: Sam Gollschewsky - 5141 Points 3rd: Nathan Politch - 4974 Points 2019-2020 MOST IMPROVED DRIVER Chris Were 2019-2020 ROOKIE OF THE YEAR Mitch Pammenter Please congratulate these awesome drivers on some real kick ass racing throughout last season. We are very proud of all our Modlite drivers and teams. The racing is super fast, and very competitive. Modlites is fast becoming the class to be in, with a large increase in cars and members this new season. A huge thanks to all our members, officials, scrutineers, delegates and committee. Without everyone working together we couldn't pull these shows off. We wish everyone the best of luck for this new season which is well underway. Thank you Modlites Qld Committee

01.01.2022 Pic taken this date 12 years ago. Rodney’s 2 biggest supporters Mitch & Mason aren’t here tonight. Mitch and Nathan Politch are racing the Modlite series round in Maryborough. Despite Rodney currently sitting 3rd in the Modlite series and having zero points in the Modified series he had to choose which meeting to run and chose his no1 love - the VZ being at one of his favorite tracks. He’s had a big week rebuilding the car after Bundaberg last weekend and keen to get some laps in at Toowoomba tonight and Brisbane tomorrow night.
