16.01.2022 Wanting to share a video from your phone or tablet without loss of quality? Over the last few weeks filming on your phone and then sharing it with your colleagues has become really popular. Its a great way to keep communicating during COVID-19 where larger scale shoots are not possible. However weve found that while people have been filming in HD on their phone or tablet, that when they they email, WhatsApp, Airdrop, Messenger, SMS or upload to SharePoint or Microsoft Team...s that the video shrinks to a much smaller size than it was filmed at! Weve found the easiest way to maintain the HD resolution of your video is to upload it to your Dropbox directly from your phone, then share it with the person youd like to send it to. This way it gets sent in the resolution you filmed it at and doesnt get squished or compressed. Oh and you dont need to film in 4K, especially for a longer piece to camera - itll just take longer to upload and download.
