19.01.2022 On the test bench this week.... A brand new mini PTZ from Dahua. This little cam can also see very well in the dark, thanks to its starlight sensor. I will put it through its paces and make sure it plays nice with my existing systems.

14.01.2022 Moved the Cinema rig up to 6S batteries for longer flight times. Had to rebuild the entire electronics to make it work, but its worth it. 5 mins flight time instead of 2.5-3 mins.

13.01.2022 On the healing bench tonight: a late 2011 Macbook Pro with a dead graphics chip. A software tweak and a couple of soldering jumpers later, and the dead graphics is bypassed, bringing the old and dead back to life. I hate waste! Might use the old girl for a few weeks before rehoming it.

02.01.2022 This is a challenging job to link up 4 cameras with only one camera having a wired connection. Ubiquiti Nanostation Point To Point WiFi to the rescue. It's far cheaper than tearing up the road to get a reliable connection for the cameras.
