Queensland Police Service: Detectives from Major Orga...nised Crime Squad Rural are investigating the shooting of stallion The Wolf of Wall Street on Burlington Station in June. Initial investigations suggest that the stallion was shot sometime between 8pm on Tuesday, June 16 and 3.30pm on Thursday, June 18, while the animal was staying in the front paddock of the property. Other horses that were also located in the paddock were not injured. Anyone with information in relation to this offence is urged to contact police and quote QP2001269328. #9News

This allows mares to remain in competition, whilst producing progeny at the same time.
