25.01.2022 One of our favourite performers at Rockhampton River Festival would have to be Aspy Jones so we are super excited to hear new music is on its way! If you haven't had the pleasure, Aspy Jones is a singer-songwriter who writes from the heart. Check out the exclusive single premiere and interview with The AU Review "his songs are steeped in keen observations, humour and honest reflections of his life. Some of his songs deal with his experiences learning to live with Asperger’s syndrome and anxiety." Read the full interview and listen to the premiere of "Last Nerve"

25.01.2022 We loved Karamilk's unique sound on the Sin, Sweat and Sorrow stage at River Festival last year so when we heard she had released a new single we had to check it out! ‘Swimming Pool’ marks a new career high for Karamilk Erin's music can be described as mix of indie and electro with threads of the 1980s weaved through. An EP and national tour is on the cards in the very near future so keep an eye on her socials for a release date. You can download ‘Swimming Pool’ on iTunes and stream on Apple Music, Spotify and @SoundCloud.

14.01.2022 Dear River Festival Supporters, We have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Adani Rockhampton River Festival due to COVID-19 restrictions and the impact this will have on delivering the event. The River Festival team is now working on plans for the 2021 event to be held 9-11 July pending post COVID-19 restrictions. This event will be a community celebration of resilience and creativity showing support for the food, beverage and performing arts industries. ... We recognise the importance of Rockhampton River Festival to the local economy, community and most of all our valued supporters and understand how disappointing this cancellation is. We look forward to working with all stakeholders toward delivering an outstanding event in 2021. Further updates will be promoted on the Rockhampton River Festival website and Facebook page as planning for the 2021 event develops. We wish all River Festival supporters well during these very difficult times and we look forward to welcoming you back in 2021. Warm regards, The Rockhampton River Festival Team

14.01.2022 IN FLANDERS FIELDS In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place: and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly... Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields. John McCrae (18721918)
