22.01.2022 TRACK CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE Currently, the Rockhampton Kart Club Management Committee is in negotiation with Karting Qld to allow member private practice on our track. To date, no decision has been made due to the Christmas break. Until further notice, no practice in any form will be permitted at the RKC track. If you have any queries, please contact Brenton ([email protected]) or Judy ([email protected]).

21.01.2022 Hello everyone the track is still open for practice as was voted, we need as many ppl as possible to come down and run on the track. Our audit will sorted shortly which means our AGM will be one month after as per the constitution. We will need ppl to put there hand up the fill positions after the AGM has been called.

19.01.2022 Ok guys as we know Judy is calling it quits this year as secretary, this is a shout out to all our members who are or would be interested in doing this role. If we dont have a secretary we have no club. So even if we need to split the role and have others do some things. Remember we are the club, if we dont have volunteers the stops. I dont want this and am willing to help with this.

15.01.2022 Hi everyone Emerald Kart Club in conjunction with Rocky Kart Club have put together an inter club challenge to be held over 2 days. This will be the weekend the 18-19 July. There is camping available on the Saturday night, it would be great to see as many ppl as possible for the first race meeting after covid. Please remember to fill out the covid 19 declaration for everyone who intends to attend and please bring personal hand sanitizer. Bring on the racing.

05.01.2022 Hi All Members Past and Present, The club is celebrating its 21st Birthday of Karting at our Bajool track this year. It wold be fantastic if you can please send through some photos and videos that you may have from the founders to the fast racers of today and everything and everyone in between. We would like to use these images/videos at our celebration evening so please feel free to send images/videos via messenger or please get in contact with club Secretary Judy Simond...s via email ([email protected]) to organise postage of scanned USB files or collection (where possible). anything that the club can use can you please get it through by end of February (at the latest) would be great!! 04.01.2022 So we have been informed that Autobarn Rockhampton has a simulator going of Bathurst, and a Ferrari is the weapon of choice. Prize packs for fastest time over a week. So get ya butts in there and have a crack and also check out their range of stuff.

01.01.2022 RACING RETURNS: The Rockhampton Kart Club had every reason to celebrate as racing returned to its upgraded track! Its been over three months since drivers were able to utilise the track and there was plenty of rubber burnt for the special occasion.
