22.01.2022 Multiple Birth Awareness Week (MBAW) is a national Australian campaign to raise awareness around and draw attention to the unique realities for multiple birth families and how active advocacy, positive education and engaged communities can contribute to enabling positive health outcomes for our families. The changing theme for MBAW is launched around October each year. We are calling on you to share your ideas for MBAW 2021. MBAW is an opportunity to raise awareness & educate... others about multiple births, so we would love to hear your ideas about what you believe Australian’s need to be more educated about when it comes to having and raising multiples. You can share your ideas, following the link https://www.amba.org.au/mbaw Please share far and wide, this is not just for AMBa members.
22.01.2022 Here's wishing you all have a wonderful Easter sharing special moments and loads of chocolates with those you love most.
12.01.2022 Yesterday marked the start of Multiple Birth Awareness Week. Why do we raise awareness? Because twins make up 1.4% of all births and Higher Order Multiples (triplets or more) make up 0.02% of all births - and having a multiple birth means that you face unique challenges along your parenting journey. This is the week that we raise awareness of those challenges whilst simultaneously celebrating how wonderful it is to have twins, triplets or more.

02.01.2022 Anonymous question: Seeking reassurance! I have 1.5 year old fraternal twins and recently my husband and I decided to try again for a 3rd baby. Low and behold -... we have just found out we are having twins again Our first set will be 2 years 3 months when our second set are born. I am just wanting to hear some reassuring and positive words from anyone who has had 2 sets of twins - feeling blessed but also very overwhelmed at the prospect TIA xxx See more
01.01.2022 Sadly, after a 4 year sponsorship period with Kimberly-Clark (KCA) and HUGGIES, the current membership incentive of a free case of nappies for each new member-f...amily is being discontinued by KCA. AMBAQ would like all members who have not yet claimed their nappies to do this immediately. Thanks
