06.04.2022 Happy to promote this event Alzheimer's Queensland Dementia Education & Services Information Day My name is Michele I work for Alzheimer’s Queensland, we are holding seven Free Dementia & Services Information Days throughout Queensland and I was reaching out to see if we would be able to advertise our Rockhampton event within your community. The information being supplied at the event is of great benefit to our local ageing community, their family and carers. ... The events are to educate the ageing community of how to access the services they require to assist with their quality of daily living. We will be introducing My Aged Care and the process of getting approval for services, Wellways and the services they offer, Alzheimer’s Queensland and the services we offer both in home and in our Multiservice Centres. We will also talk about Dementia and the impact this has on the person with Dementia as well as their carers and Allied Health Therapy services that can assist them in numerous ways from physiotherapy to Occupation Therapy and Home Modifications.

24.01.2022 COVID-19 changed our Film Festival this year. First a virtual Magic Show prior to Christmas and today one theatre in action. Together with our generous sponsors and support from The Rotary Club Of South Gladstone and Rotary Club of Emerald Sunrise, we have provided an outing for worthy families for many years with this project. Hoping all is restored in 2021. #supportingyouth
