25.01.2022 Hey Everyone just a quick little update on our number board. Thank you so much to the members who have bought a number and shared ours posts to family and friends. It means a lot. To our members who haven't bought a number yet please share the post like crazy, tag your friends and family after all we are raising money for your club to keep on running how we love it too. I will out an updated version in the comments

21.01.2022 Hey all, the monthly meeting has been rescheduled for next Sunday. The weather forecast is not looking good, the river conditions aren't the best and Dave said the mozzies and flys are everywhere. Not nice meeting conditions at all. See you all next weekend.

21.01.2022 Hi Everyone, The ski club boat will still be going in this weekend. However there will be some restrictions to provide a safe environment for all. Social distancing will be enforced and we appreciate you following the 1.5m away guideline. - Only 2 people in the boat at all times (1 spotter, 1 driver) spotter is to sit at the furtherest point away from the driver as possible. - Only one up skiing at a time, skiiers are too close toghether when doing 2 up. ... - Members only, no unecassary guests at this time. After this is over guests are more than welcome! - If you are unwell in any way STAY AT HOME! We do not want any uneccassry germs spreading. The river isn't going anywhere. - Please bring your own gear if you have it. The less sharing the better at this time. Unfortuantly the next meeting and the planned bbq are now CANCELLED. There will be an executive only meeting, those that that concerns will be advised. Rockhampton Water Ski Club thanks everyone for there cooperation and wish everyone good health and to stay safe.

19.01.2022 A note from our president: In the midst of everything that is happening in the world right now the Rockhampton Waterski Club is happy to announce we have been successfully in receiving a Gambling community benefit fund grant! This will go towards installing solar to help curb our electricity bills and make our club more environmentally friendly! How exciting! Thank you to our secretary Jasmine for organising all the paperwork and writing the successful application. We are delighted to start the process as soon as possible and help out a local businesses during this tough time. Chris Mick

18.01.2022 There will be a ski club meeting on this weekend (Sunday 17) that club members are welcome to attend. If you have anything you would like brought up but do not wish to attend due to isolation please send us a message. If you have business to discuss and are planning to attend please still send us a message. This will help the meeting move smoother and be more effective when we know what we will be discussing. The club boat will also be in the water this Sunday for CLUB MEMBE...RS ONLY. No visitors or guests at this time to limit numbers. Social distancing rules will still apply. - 1 person behind the boat only - 1 spotter and 1 driver only to be in the boat - please bring and use your own gear when possible - when using communal spaces (kitchen, bathrooms, grassed area) keep your distance! Don't assume people want you close. Respect their distance. And keep these spaces clean. - wash your own dishes or use your own reusable/disposal cutlery is possible. We are glad to be allowed back in the water and want everyone to have a safe and fun weekend!

11.01.2022 Ladies and gents this is why the boat is not in the river this weekend! All of this is on it's way to Yeppoon, hopefully it will clear up our stretch of water

09.01.2022 Hey Everybody, at this stage the club boat probably won't be going in this Sunday (9/02/2020) as all the weed in the river makes it very hard to ski. If you're thinking about heading up give Dave a call first to check the river conditions.

06.01.2022 Hi Everyone, as you know the restrictions are being eased as of May 2nd (Saturday). This however DOES NOT mean the ski club boat will be going back in the water. Recreational activities are available to do with people from your household only. Or with one other person. Not both. Families with their own boats may use the club ramp but the boat WILL NOT be operating so we do not breach any guidelines.
