24.01.2022 A MESSAGE FROM THE CITY OF ROCKINGHAM Water Corporation will temporarily close a section of Safety Bay Road in Rockingham from Monday 20 July to Saturday 1 August. Water Corporation is undertaking work to duplicate a 3.8km section of treated wastewater pipeline between Ritchie Drive, and the Wastewater Treatment Plant on Point Peron Road.... To safely install the section of pipe across Safety Bay Road, Water Corporation needs to temporarily close Safety Bay Road, near the intersection of Lake Street, for approximately two weeks. A local detour along Boundary Road, Lease Road and Memorial Drive will be in place and signs will be clearly displayed to direct traffic. Please take extra care in the area to ensure the safety of road users and crews.
