01.01.2022 THIS IS ON TODAY.... at the Hotel Clipper From 11am to 12noon Peter will be at the memorial service at the Catalpa Geese Memorial in Rockingham. This will be a solemn service of which poetry, songs and prayers will be shared by the Australian Irish Heritage Association. He will be unable to sign books, take photos or engage during this memorial service. Everyone is welcome to attend this service, but please note seating is not granted there and the event is a service. ... From 12.30 Peter FitzSimons will be at the Hotel Clipper in the main function room, he will give a short talk on the story and then we expect the Hon Mark McGowan BA LLB MLA to officially launch the book. The books of Peter FitzSimons will be on sale by Rockingham Books who are located in the Rockingham Centre but will be at the Hotel Clipper selling the books on the day at the Hotel Clipper, no pre sales of the books will be available and the book officially goes on sale on the 23rd April. (Were just lucky to get it a day early). Youre welcome to have your books signed and a photo taken with Peter FitzSimons. We ask that you purchase the Catapla book to sign on the day, however youre welcome to bring in his other books from home but a limit of three to be signed will be in place, simply due to time issues. Other books that Peter has written will be on sale during the event. Before or After the signing youre welcome to stay at the Hotel Clippers Cafe and enjoy a meal, food, wine, coffee or a cake.
