Best of luck too to their guitarist Elise who is taking a break to have her first baby. We are super proud to have had so many former and current Scholars' bands invited to play on Hyper stages over the years. You can find out more about it including how to volunteer at future events here: https://www.hyperfest.com.au/home.

18.01.2022 There are many things we love about Rock Scholars, one is the privilege we have in watching our students grow up. One of our longest serving band program residents is talented guitarist/all-round amazing musician and sweet lady, Lola. Lola started lessons at Rock Scholars when she was just 9 years old, joined the band program when she was 10 and this year Lola got her Ps and started driving herself to her weekly band program rehearsals. Lola's band Patio Living won Band... of the Year at the end of 2019 - the song they recorded with Jelly Sound (their prize) received rave reviews on triple j Unearthed and they are now looking forward to supporting WA legends Sly Withers in December. Come check them out at the Indian Ocean Hotel on Sunday where the band will be headlining the first of our three end of term shows. We would love to see you there.
