23.01.2022 We're back!! Skating sessions will resume Friday Jan 31st. All ages weekly session 7pm-9.30pm. $7 entry & $3 skate hire. Under 12s fortnightly session 5pm-6pm. $4 entry (inc skate hire). *Cash only* NO eftpos available.

22.01.2022 Just to confirm, we are still CLOSED for the foreseeable future. The latest lifted restrictions are only for groups of 100 or less. Skating will not be able to open until groups over 200 are allowed to gather. We appreciate that everyone misses skating (so do we!), but we have to abide by the government rulings and keep everyone safe.

22.01.2022 In response to the Prime Minister's advice to cancel large gatherings, we have made the tough decision to close skating for the next five weeks. We understand this may seem over-cautious given our numbers are under 500; however the wellbeing of our volunteers and patrons is always our priority. We ask for your support and understanding during this time and will provide an update in the coming weeks with our return date

17.01.2022 We have a brand new rink! Come and join Inline Hockey to be one of the first to try it out.

16.01.2022 Do you know a handyman/chippy who could give us a quote to make these boxes? We have a new rink waiting to be set up, but require these boxes to be made for sandbags to go in and hold it all in place. Approximately 20+ boxes are required.

14.01.2022 Inline Hockey starts back tonight! Come down from 6pm to have a try, or see our games in action. Juniors play 6.30pm Seniors play 7.30pm All ages and experience levels are welcome. All new players can try two games for free!

14.01.2022 Update on skating: Due to unforseen challenges with retrofitting our newly purchased rink and Covid-19, skating has been closed since April 2020. 2021 also means Beef Week for Rockhampton, and the Rocky Skate Club has to vacate our building in the coming weeks. We hope to be able to alter our rink during this time, and endeavour to open skating again, pending our lease contract renewal, in July. This page will be updated when a definite date has been decided. We thank you for your patience, and your eagerness for skating to return.

13.01.2022 Great opportunity again to dust off our skates during our break with no rink and head to Mackay for a weekend of hockey!! This is exactly why we run skating - to help fund our hockey trips and get to enjoy playing against other teams

05.01.2022 Skating is still closed and will remain so until ALL Covid restrictions have lifted, but if you're missing being on the rink why not come and play Inline Hockey? Games are played every Wednesday night for Junior & Senior league. You'll only pay $52.50 total for the remainder of the year! Bargain! You'll even get 2 free trial games to get a feel for the game before payment is required. What are you waiting for?! Get some skates back on your feet :)
