With gatherings no more than two, This has caused a great change. I wished to take you out to eat, But left it somewhat late. The eateries and coffee shops Had closed before that date.. So sanitize your hands my dear. As you go in and out. I wouldn’t want you getting sick With viruses about. Stock up on toilet tissue Whatever that may do. For what that stuff is good for Isn’t viruses or flu. When you do your shopping If you are being wise, Frozen and canned food I’m told Are foods we’ve learned to prize. Please do always wear a mask When out upon the street, To save you from the germs and such On strangers you may meet. And here I do express the wish You had a happy day, And with these precautions dear, Do not forget to pray. Love, Mother.
