21.01.2022 CHRISTMAS TREE FUNDRAISER 2020 This year, Rodilesa Plant Supplies have decided to do our annual Christmas tree fundraiser for Oakley West. On the 29th of December 2019, the West family (Anthony and his wife Jess and their two children Oakley 9 and Deighton 5) were involved in a car accident near Creswick which saw the tragic passing of Jess and Deighton. Anthony and Oakley were also injured in the collision and Oakley was flown to the Royal Children's Hospital. After mon...ths of rehabilitation Oakley has made a full recovery but now they face a life without their wife, mother, son and brother. The owners of Rodilesa Plants have a relationship with the West family through the Lockwood Tennis Club and the Newbridge Football/Netball Club so we have decided all the profits made from the trees will go towards Oakley's future schooling. A 'funds account' has been set up with the Strathfieldsaye Primary School so Anthony can access when needed to help with any school related expenses. (e.g: fees, camps, computers, stationary etc.) The trees range in heights from 4ft to 6ft high. They will be $45 each, with tree stands also available for $30 if needed. We are encouraging everyone to pre order their trees via phone or by direct message to the Rodilesa Plant Supplies Facebook page. We would appreciate orders to be placed before the 4th of December so we don't run the risk of you missing out due to high demand. If you are unable to pick up your tree we will also offer delivery for $15 in the Bendigo area only. For those who can not make it on the 4th of December, Junortoun will have trees available in store from the 1st of December. Kyneton and Castlemaine will have trees available in store from the 4th of December but we still encourage people to pre order. Anyone who buys a tree will also go into the draw to win a water feature valued at $1000 - kindly donated by Northcote Pottery who we thank very much for their continual support with these amazing donations every year. This will drawn on the Monday the 21st of December. All the Rodilesa staff hope you can get behind this great fundraiser so we can raise as much money as we can for Anthony and Oakley West. 18.01.2022 The Christmas trees have been flying out the door and our main pick up day is still to come tomorrow. Our truck will be delivering 350 trees late in the morning tomorrow. We are encouraging everyone to come to our Junortoun store carpark between 5.30pm and 7.30pm to pick up your orders. We will have a variety of trees available so bring your families/partners/friends as we invite you to pick your own tree together. (We understand this won’t suit everyone so for those who need to pick up during business hours can you please come as late as possible.) We will have the tree stands available for those who have pre ordered one over the last few weeks, but unfortunately due to high demand we have sold out of stands for walk up sales. Our fantastic supplier Northcote pottery has again shown their support this year by kindly donating a choice of either a burnt amber or sandstone harmony water feature for one lucky customer who purchases a tree to win. Fresh Christmas tree $45 Tree stand $30 ... The trees will start arriving from midday Tuesday in Junortoun but our main night will be Friday evening in the Junortoun car park between 5.30pm and 7.30pm where there will be heaps of trees for customers to choose from. 14.01.2022 We continually sell out of these pin cushion hakea, so the Rodilesa growing farm continues to increase the numbers and we now have some great looking stock available. The first 50 plants in 140mm went back to the Junortoun store this week and at just $7.95 each they will not last long so get in quick.

08.01.2022 Oakley West fundraiser A big thank you to everyone who purchased a Christmas tree or donated to support our fundraiser this year. With all the profits from the trees and stands, as well as donations and delivery fees we are proud to announce we raised a total of $23 165.70. This has been deposited into the ‘Oakley West Scholarship Fund’ as of today. A massive thank you to all the Rodilesa staff and those who volunteered their time to do deliveries as it is a huge logist...ical effort to organise and run as smoothly as possible. As a added bonus we had two great prizes to give away with thanks to our generous suppliers. 1st prize of a harmony water feature donated from Northcote pottery went to: Caleb Barry 2nd prize of a bench seat donated by Takasho for the best decorated tree (judged by all of Rodilesa staff) went to: Danielle Nixon We have spoken to Anthony West and he also wanted to add. I would like to say a massive thank you to the Rodilesa team on the huge effort and commitment put in for the ‘do it for Oakley fundraiser’. The money raised is incredibly overwhelming and it couldn’t be done without the local community getting behind it. So to everyone that went out and purchased a tree or donated I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Have a safe and wonderful Christmas and be careful on the roads.

06.01.2022 The Rodilesa growing farms have been flat out over the last few months producing heaps of our own stock to send out to our 3 retail nurseries. With over 3000 plants per week being sent out to the stores, the nurseries always have something new for our customers to see. This week our internal stock list had over 250 varieties of plants on it for the stores to choose from to fill up their displays. Our stock is grown in open air so it makes for a tough and hardy plant and we will not send plants out until the are up to size and quality. We took a few photos of some of the stock that went back from the farm today so expect to see these available in the stores in the next week. All the stock in this post are grown in 140mm pots so they range between $7.95 and $8.95 each.

Thanks to another one of our fantastic suppliers Takasho Australasia - we are pleased to announce we have another give away. One lucky customer who purchased a tree will win one of our bench seats valued at $289.95. All we want you to do is take a photo of your decorated tree and post it below and we will pick our favourite tree to win the prize. (Please remember to keep topping up the water so the bottom of the tree trunk is submerged in water at all times. This will keep your tree fresh right up until Christmas day.)

05.01.2022 The next crop of euonymus Tom Thumb tubes are ready to make their way into the stores over the next few days. We have 1300 available in 75mm tubes at $2.95 each and if you buy 20 or more they come down to $2.50 each. These tubes are cut from a early stage so you get nice and bushy plants ready to plant out for a tough and hardy little hedge. Just another reminder we will be closed for the public holiday on Friday.
