21.01.2022 This beauty is an original French gas lantern found in an antique shop's back yard! Fortunately most of the frame (copper & brass) was undamaged, however some parts, including the glass panels were missing. After being professionally polished and sealed with a baked on enamel, the process of putting this project back together and converting it to electricity was undertaken. ... Glass panels with bevelled edges were installed to complete this magnificent finished lantern, which will forever be conversation piece for it's new owners.

17.01.2022 Here's our "MILLER" embossed brass C1892 Hanging Lamp. A handsome example of the superb embossing and brass work that the Miller Company was capable of. The brass metalwork has been cleaned and polished to a natural satin finish. Now electrified by means of an energy efficient LED lamp.

14.01.2022 An original Flemish brass Chandelier restored, rewired and polished. The defining feature of this chandelier is the central ball stem comprised of a large brass sphere, or series of ascending spheres, which support upward-curving arms. Flemish chandeliers often incorporated Gothic symbolism, religious figures and stylised floral decoration. ... Particularly popular was the inclusion of a double-headed eagle emblem on top of the chandelier. If you have a custom lighting project in mind, feel free to reach out to us here or at our website

13.01.2022 A classic original C1894 "Miller" refurbished library lamp complete with crystal prism drops. The original illumination would have been produced using kerosene with a burner and wick. Wick adjustment and re-fueling was done using a ceiling clutch mechanism with chains to enable the lamp to rise and fall. This lamp has been electrified so it's no longer able to rise and fall due to the electrical wiring.... The maker, Edward Miller & Co was formed in 1844 in Connecticut USA and produced a great variety of Oil and Kerosene lamps. They are highly collectable and super popular with our clients!
