25.01.2022 Getting down to the detail. I particularly loved drawing the facade of Bistro Moncur and its distinctive logo. The piece aims to hero the beautiful street aspect of the hotel and restaurant as an iconic pillar of the Woollahra community.
25.01.2022 In March I was awarded the ‘paint the pub prize’ in Woollahra’s Queen Street Art Prize, allowing me the opportunity to produce a unique artwork to hang inside the @thewoollahrahotel. Then Covid lockdown happened and things were put on hold. But now I’m excited to share what we’ve been working on for the last few weeks, stay tuned!
23.01.2022 As an artist you inevitably have some pieces that instantly have an impact on you and force a connection. This was one of those pieces.
21.01.2022 I’m thrilled that my small piece, ‘Close to Home’ (charcoal on mounted paper, 25x25cm), has been accepted as a FINALIST in Paddington’s @littlethingsartprize ! My piece will be on display with the other finalists from Sept 16-27 at @saint_cloche! Come check them all out! Big thanks to the prize organisers and judges

17.01.2022 ‘Queen and Moncur’, 170x90cm, charcoal on paper. The finished artwork, commissioned as part of the ‘paint the pub’ art prize I won earlier this year, is now hanging in @moncur_cellars attached to @thewoollahrahotel and @bistro_moncur. The piece, highlighting the intrinsic connection between the hotel and the community, is now on show for cellar patrons and tastings until it is relocated to the restaurant when renovations are completed. Come check it out next time you need to grab a bottle of wine for dinner!
