Birthday present to myself is studying another awesome course enabling me to become a qualified Nutritionist - just to add more flavour to all my other Certifications and enable me to help my wonderful clients even more. Also coming to Rogue Training is a Body Scan machine, on its way from the USA. The scanner will provide information about body fat density, bone density, water content, visceral fat content and weight. All very accurate to assist with weight management, nutritional and exercise prescription. My 46th year will be one of empowerment not only for myself, but for those who seek my assistance with their health and fitness goals! Woohoo!

17.01.2022 Don't normally eat dessert but felt like something yummy tonight. Made a very quick GF custard made from 1 cup of thickened cream, handful pineapple pieces and juice from tin, 2 eggs, 1 Tbsp gf flour and a bit of hot water. Added banana and some fresh strawberries with a splash of cream...Rozzie happy now :) threw all ingredients into a saucepan and whisked, stirred, added hot water after eggs fully combined and mixture warm, mixed until thickened. Add sweetener if you like it sweeter or add grated dark choc to top.

Maximum of 9 people. 5pm Yungaburra Recreation Shed. Please book via www.roguetrainer1.com I can also offer group Personal Training sessions outdoors. Max of 9 people but would prefer to keep group smaller for a more personalised service. For groups of 4, $25 each for the hour (pre-screening and goal setting as well as weekly check-in and workout provided online). Groups of 3 @ $30 each with same extras as above. 17.01.2022 I did a thing! Applied for Uni! Have been accepted! I'm now enrolled! Start Uni (again) in 2021. 30 years after graduating high-school! I didn't complete my first degree - Bachelor of Teaching, but have ironically been teaching ever since! ... I'm now enrolled in Bachelor of Sports and Science - will then add on another year of study to become an Exercise Physiologist. I may even go a little further to become a Dr! Super excited as I've wanted to do this course and get this accreditation for over 20years! I think it's about time! I'll be 50 with a degree! Woohoo!

I have noticed an increasing need to create a Specialised Group Personal Training session @ SIX Degrees Gym & Bouldering for both our Pre and Post Natal Women. The sessions will be tailored to your needs and requirements throughout your pregnancy and beyond. You will learn all about your pelvic floor, hormones, physical adaptations during and after pregnancy. Appropriate exercises during your pregnancy and what is required physically post... pregnancy. You will learn that you can do a lot of different exercises (yes strength included), during this special and crazy time in your life. Exercise during pregnancy has been known to help throughout all trimesters, and can be very helpful having a fit and capable body when going through labour and recovering post-partum. A small group environment provides a happy and positive social network for you and other Mother's so that you can connect through laughter, shared stories and similarities and even cry if you need to. Pregnancy and Beyond Specialised Group Personal Training Sessions will aim to run twice weekly. Minimum of 4 and maximum of 8 participants per class. 05.01.2022 It's amazing how fast you decondition after a week in bed! This week I start back at ground zero! I have to retrain my heart again, it is back to being its naughty tachycardic self. My blood pressure is low, which should be good right? but when you're feint on standing and feel light headed - it's not a good thing. I have to get my yoga back on again to tone the vagus nerve - this helps settle the nervous system, in particular the ANS autonomic nervous system, which looks... after all the things you can't control (heart rate, BP, digestion, circulation etc). Inversions are great for this, good ole downdog and such. Having vertigo made this pose impossible, as was many other exercises which I so badly wanted to do. I have to rebuild muscle tone, yep just one week and I've lost tone! And gain back my strength. I was no joke struggling just carrying groceries from my car to the kitchen this morning, like what the? It is true, if you don't use it you lose it and this past week has shown me how bloody quickly this can happen - even to someone like me who is pretty bloody fit. I am pushing myself this week just to get to work #1, and to be the best mentor I can be to all my fellow Rogueians. I also #2, endeavour to look after myself a lot more than I have been. I have been grateful for all the comments and support given by a lot of you out there and the common comment has been "please take care of yourself!" thank you, and yes I am hearing you, and yes I will do my best to take your advice. It's funny how being in a care role - (yes, a PT is a caring role for those who think we are assholes and are on massive power trips!- maybe some PT's are like this, but I'm a care bear - I care with toughness hehe). As a PT you give out health and wellness advice and do everything in your power to make sure your clients are looking after themselves and doing what's best for them. We are awesome to everyone else, yet we forget to do the same for ourselves. I'm sure lots of professionals, parents, care-givers are in this same boat. Take a leaf out of my book, please take care of yourselves. Listen to your body and nurture it as best you can. I've enjoyed the simple things again this week, playing with the animals, having a quiet cuppa watching the clouds roll by, hearing the birds and just being still. Sometimes the body screws you up, yells at you to behave in a tone that knocks you off your feet in order to bring you back to a place you haven't visited for a while.... See more

02.01.2022 Hello everyone! I'm back tomorrow! Thank you all for your messages and kind thoughts during our stressful time. My Dad is still not great, but the surgery was successful. Just a wait and see time now wrt to how his body accepts the new hard drive and titanium gear! I'm still absolutely exhausted from it all, but am working super hard to get my mojo back! 01.01.2022 This week's challenge! Gratitude and positive affirmations! What is your affirmation for today? It might be, I will get out of bed and make the most of today. Or, i will give the people i come in contact with today an honest compliment. Gratitude...... I would love to know what makes you feel happy and grateful every single day this week. Focusing on the positives actually helps you generate an amazing positive bubble of energy around you. People tend to gravitate towards you when you are feeling happy, grateful and when you turn a bad or not so great situation in to something better. Thoughts are powerful critters. Let's see if a week of focusing on positive affirmations and being grateful takes you in a happier direction. After my shitty weekend, I need to focus on everything positive so that I don't think and start to believe the universe hates my guts lol! My positive self says, the universe loves me and was just trying to help me look after myself, to rest and to ground myself in preparation for big things to come!
