The CEFC has invested in innovative solar energy technology with the potential to revolutionise Australia’s use of rooftop solar, delivering lightweight, flexible panels that can be used across a wider range of applications than existing glass panels. On behalf of the Australian Government, the CEFC committed US$7 million through the Clean Energy Innovation Fund to the Sunman US$12 million Se...ries B capital raising, alongside company founder Dr Zhengrong Shi and Southern Cross Venture Partners. Sunman will use the capital to further develop and deploy the technology behind its innovative eArc solar panels and to optimise its installation processes. eArc panels, made from a lightweight polymer composite material, are 70 per cent lighter than a glass panel. This makes them cheaper to transport and easier to install because they can be glued to a surface. The flexibility of the panels means they offer multiple benefits. They can be moulded to contoured surfaces, offering potential for use beyond conventional rooftops. They can be used for mobile power generation, making them suitable for remote sites and vehicles. 09.01.2022 Customer dropped off an 120watt folding solar panel as it had stopped working. We suspected the cheap regulator bonded to the back of the panel. Worse place for a regulator as the heat kills them. With an solar analyser on hand it was easy to check for solar panel performance. 110watts on a mid afternoon sunny day. 08.01.2022 On the weekend our last stop was Leyburn camping reserve. We did check out a few other free camp areas. These were Bowenville, Cecil Plains (Had a drink at the pub though) and Millmerran but not to our liking.

02.01.2022 On request from a customer, we were asked if the Doble light pole and Doble tent pole light can be repaired. These lights were a great Australian innovation at the time but unfortunately the manufacturer stopped production leaving it with no product support. We had a failed Demo light pole light to disassemble for assessment. To disassemble the light pole requires the following steps:... 1. Remove end caps. 2. Remove silicon from in tube end. The battery end which is blue has to be completely cleaned out as the whole assembly will slide out of this end. 3. Pull out button at plug seal. 4. Push assembly out of the battery end. 5. Turn over the plastic sleave and it the circuit board looks in good condition then a battery change may fit the light. This light pole had unfortunately had water damage and could not be fixed.
