24.01.2022 Chicken Wrapped in Bacon with White Wine Sauce coming up!#RollbuschCountryKitchen #WeekendYummies #FamilyFavouriteRecipe Drunken Chicken Recipe Ingredients: ... 4 chicken breast cut in quarters Plain flour seasoned with salt & pepper 2tsp crushed garlic 1 bottle white wine 8 rashers bacon 8 slices Swiss or cheddar cheese 3 spring onions chopped 2tbs mustard 600ml cream Method: Toss chicken breast pieces in seasoned flour Roll bacon around chicken pieces and secure with toothpick Add 2tbs oil and crushed garlic to frying pan Brown chicken pieces and place in oven proof dish Add wine, mustard, spring onions and extra garlic (if wanted) to pan, mix together Pour in cream and stir Mix 2-3tbs plain flour/corn flour in a cup with 1/2 cup water till smooth Pour flour mixture into sauce, mix while simmering for a few minutes Pour sauce over chicken Place cheese slices over chicken Bake in 180* oven for 1 hr Serve with jasmin rice, broccolini & honeyed carrots
