19.01.2022 So the old brownie was bruised and battered and time for a change. Enter rollerdoorsales. Had a look at it and wondered how anybody could ever drive in, park inside or even reverse considering the width and the fact it was in a lane-way with minimal room? No wonder the brown bruiser looked like something out of Afghanistan? Easy fixed.... Customer was a true champ once I said lets widen it and make life easier. So organized a TDS Roller door, powered it up with a Merlin Quiet-Drive motor and off we went. Stripped it, cut the old out and installed the new. Door to the left was giving me the S&#@s, so I replaced the existing flashing and made it one entity to fatten it all up and give it some appeal. 16.01.2022 This is what im talking bout... Absolutely love doing these conversions. Bare opening got steel frame fabrication to suit new roller door and return panel in Corro. Dropped in some color bond flashing's to highlight surroundings making a neat border, and in with the door. Then I had to add my personal touch, (couldn't help myself) ordered the door with no lock giving it that clean streamlined commercial look.... Motor has double the strength of locking bars particularly on smaller doors, so customer said ''why not'' lets give it that look. But this guy, legend After quoting the job, all he said was '' its yours to do, only if its done with love''... ''I dont care for the quote, I just care for the love''... What a champ. It does however go without saying, what we do you see everyday when you get home so its gotta have the love. So here it is Guys and Gals. 2 Brand new roller doors with blank curtains/no locks (my favorite touch) Out with the old timber posts and in with maintenance free steel posts. Add Merlin power to open and close these bad boys,add new colorbond covers to finish, and there's the love right there. End result, a clean trick look to the frontage, now all safe and secure. 14.01.2022 Just finished installing a couple of doors when the neighbour popped out and said 'do you guys do garage doors'? (damn I really wanted to say we work for NASA) So we cruised over and he asked what can we do to secure his outdoor fridges and possibly create some storage at the rear of his cafe, as space was minimal? Straight away I said lets box in this staircase and he asked "can you do that"? Absolutely. So swing doors were out of the question as cars were parked next to sta...ircase. Sliding gate and roller door got the nod and off we went. We were particular in utilizing perforated Corro for his gate and roller door section so the secured area could stay ventilated. (Darker coloured sheeting) Beneath the staircase we lined it with Colorbond sheeting to further secure and waterproof. Then a simple structure on the opposite side we built to secure additional stock for his business. I provided a sketch to show him my thought process and he said "You crazy, but lets do it". End result awesome use of minimal space and customer is still doing back-flips. A trick result in the end considering its difficulties and available space "That's how we do it" See more

Lets build you a ''steel chassis frame'' to support a roller and toughen up your carport (and give it that appeal) then add classy returns to suit...... So with the framework done, we dropped in a roller door and set it of center slightly as the chimney was eating that part of the driveway, which then gave it a nice balance with opposing panel to close of side area . Returns in corro on edge to mimic the door and give that modern, yet retro feel, whilst fully enclosing and securing the premises, as per job scope Customers wrapped with the result, and so are we. 09.01.2022 How Good is this Guy? Couple down South recently purchased their new home and got busy with the renovations. Rollerdoorsales got the call and the brief was simple. ''Garage is for the beast, i need it built like this''. Yeah... Cool...... My kinda guy.. Existing rollerdoors got the flick and found a new home on Gum-tree. New Framework got a heavy duty badge put on it to fix new panel door to, as the new setup would now have new Panel door rearward from where existing rollers lived. End result, an outer carport look was created but still blends in like it was always there... This guy had it sussed and it really needs to be seen to be appreciated. Nice move. Existing structural Trusses' were going to interfere with the new doors travel , but a grinder and welder fixed that issue. Modified truss for motor to pass through is now stronger than before and looks like it was always there. Panel door looks trick inside and out, and gets its muscle courtesy of a Merlin Tilt-Master.. Garage got a paint job. Customer is wrapped. Done ''Thats how we do it"

09.01.2022 For those of you in the know, we all have them, uncles and aunts who just don't want to get with the program. Gotta love em! Close family friends have been on their back for years. "When are you going to put in a roller door? Hurry up, while were still young, lets go already" Finally the opportunity came around and just at the right time.... So existing carport got the nod, and was in need of getting the fall fixed (roof went the wrong way) After plenty of colorful words which seems to help as we all know, we dropped the front right hand corner by 100mm , along with an additional 7 meters of carport to correct that problem. You read right, 100mm. (Saturday afternoon / slab of beer install by the look of it) That solved, dropped in some nice 200mm wide steel posts giving it plenty of depth, Color-bond covers to hide and showcase the new surrounding, (no painting, no worries) and my favorite, blank curtain/door no lock. Pimped it out with a battery back-up unit and wireless entry keypad, and they're having a ball with their new found security and look to their home. Unfortunately, our Mums and Dads are getting on, and security is a real issue nowadays as we know, so this was a pleasure to build and assist with. The brothers and sisters are living with a bit more ease since completion, and most importantly, the local busy bodies are sorted out also. "Thats how we do it"

08.01.2022 So an existing client asked us to visit his grandparents to sort out what they called ''Can't be done'' ''Whats this cant be done business''? So the nicest elderly couple you'll ever meet (they still hold hands) explained they had tried to enclose their frontage over the last 40 years, and no one was been able to convince them it would work? Problem was the 2 carports were at different heights and they were worried it wouldn't look uniform. Okay, understood, "but watch th...is" I said. After suggesting to them that the existing front and new framework needed to come inline with the house corner and go right across to ensure the frontage continued through, now made it easier to visualize. The recessing of doors and forward awkward fixing of framework they kept hearing was now history. Gap under lattice needed filling in without spoiling their view through the kitchen window. Enter Good neighbor fill panels, this gave them a beautiful result, and kept out newspapers people don't read as well. Access gate for bins sorted the next problem.This avoided opening roller doors every-time, and letting the world know they were home. Yep, they loved that move. And finally my favorite, blanks curtains, doors with no locks. Couldn't help myself had to offer it to them. Clean, neat......Nice Finally they were secured after all these years The guy nearly crushed my hand when he shook it he was so happy. What a champ. 08.01.2022 Every now and again you cant help some people, then the mouse in the wheel upstairs begins to move! Got a call from Pirate John (thats what he called himself) who wanted a roller door to be fitted to his existing carport. Trouble was, it was out of square and just too narrow to fit a car through after posts and modifications.... Panel door presented the same problem so he was jammed... Then the mouse spun the wheel im my head and i suggested a sliding gate? 24 hours later i get a call and the Pirate said , ''lets do it''. We went full house. Good Friend and champion concreter Ray pulled the old driveway up , and dropped in a new concrete slab, nice and level to accept gate. Return pad had electrical pre fitted prior to concrete pour to support gate automation and future power supply was sorted also for new garden lights also. Sliding gate was built , dropped in, and a neat little job was done. Full phone App was installed to suit automation, for open and close from anywhere via his phone. His kids are having a ball with it as they can come and go anytime now, and he knows exactly who when and where had just opened that gate. Nice. Pirate's Pad sorted. ''Thats how we roll''

06.01.2022 So we got a call asking us can you help? We want a gate here and nobody can seem to make it work? So the initial inspection confirmed exactly that, so we had to think outside the box... Trying to attach it to the garage wouldn't allow the sliding doors to work being the first dilemma. The cladding on the home was aluminum providing a weak structural point, thus providing another challenge!... So myself, our client and ''Magic Matt'' our newest addition, came up with a solution and got busy. The first post to support the gate was installed off the garage utilising its structure without interfering with sliding door operation. The secondary post, ground fixed and concreted, with added reinforcement back to the home's corner, now makes it bullet proof! . Add Custom flashing's to privatise, finish and enclose (no peeping now)!! Client's choice of Galvanized steel, yeah...nice choice! Enough said. ''Thats how we roll'' See more

04.01.2022 So we got a call mid year from a couple who just purchased this 1.5 acre home in the suburbs. Yep, 1.5 acres, its big. Scope was get rid of the 3 existing doors, modify the opening, and build something custom to suit the era. They were very particular about not having the same as everyone else when going over their design, and we came up with this over a few coffees. End result, a modern look with a twist of yesterday Fully custom built and fabricated, all aluminum,Commercial... Spec Panel door. Every component on this was powder-coated to suit, and its picture perfect. Our good friends Mick and the The 'Tank' Rhett from MB roller doors helped us out with the installation on this. Definitely not your average type installation, and Man, do they have some serious weight. Its big, She spans almost 6 meter's, so we had our work cut out. Dropped in a Merlin Cyclone-Pro motor to power this monster, as no other domestic unit has the muscle to lift it, and its surprisingly smooth and quite considering the weight and span, particularly if you were to compare this to the average domestic panel door, which is quite pleasing to see as we spent a lot of time getting the balance right, from engineering to install. The rest, well, enough out of me, it just speaks for itself. Awesome job guys, and a nice one to finish the year off with. ''Thats how we do it''

''Good-neighbor fencing, I want privacy, sliding gate, retaining and its gotta be strong'' Well if Christmas is coming early, then there's no shortcuts here. 65x65 intermediate posts to beef it up. 2100 high maximum council allowance was the go, (as you would) and concrete retaining. Called up good friend Ray to sort out concrete, and its picture perfect as always. Sliding gate... ''Make it wide he said''. Hows 6.6 meters sound? Yeah! Lets do it... Picture frame chassis was the look differing it from the others. Countersunk sheeting, looks trick, boxes and strengthens the frame, but best of all, it blends in like the rest of the fencing.
