28.04.2022 1 year on the road today. We have seen some amazing parts of our country and met some fabulous people along the way. But most of all we enjoy spending each day together just saying ’yes’ to most of the choices we come across. Today we are in Rockhampton QLD, we drove up Mount Archer to enjoy the view and the playground at the top. Isabella and I watched Sonic 2 at the movies because we won tickets at the RockyNats on the weekend. And this was our evening view. It’s a good way to spend each day.

26.04.2022 An amazingly fabulous week that went way too fast. Beaches, lagoon swims, caves, national park swims and hikes, beachside towns, the market, a zoo, botanical gardens, plenty of lookouts and loads of eating out. So nice to have some sister time.

09.04.2022 Learning a new game is always fun.

25.03.2022 No prouder moment than when I saw the envelope Isabella had made to put our camping fees in this morning.

12.03.2022 Thanks Kev and Diane Shearman for making us feel so welcome at Kooroorinya. Isabella loved the spread you put on and the trampoline. The fresh redclaw were divine and the evening campfire a treat. The drive to Muttaburra was easy and dry the whole way with no big ruts. Better than the bitumen road to Hughenden So glad we came this way and met you guys.

02.03.2022 This afternoons game was called ‘Libraries’ thanks Karen @ Flinders Shire Public Library. I’m sure this was inspired by you.

12.02.2022 A super hot and delightfully peaceful week on the river. Swimming, canoeing, exploring. Nature, history and geology. Queensland.

29.01.2022 Riversleigh Fossil Center in Mount Isa has provided hours of interesting information and history. Who knew that this world heritage site is where the most fossils in the world have been discovered and that even now they discover new fossils every year. Fascinating to see the physiological changes in some animals over time. And, that this now dessert land was once a thriving rainforest.

17.01.2022 A stunning evening tonight!
