20.01.2022 It's taken a few days to digest what just happened! Sarah-Jane Staszak and Paul Gardner heli-sitskiing in Alaska. One of the best days ever to see the dream be...come a reality. We were the last group of the season with Black Ops Valdez and got the A star crew with Angela flying the B3 heli, Guided by Jerry's Heli Ski Alaska and Kirsten Kremer. Scored some blue sky but with a high avalanche danger we played it mellow. One of the best parts was seeing the relationship between SJ and her son Hamish. Both were so stoked so be sharing this together and watching each other ripping lines on Alaskan Mountains! Thanks to everyone who made this possible! See more

14.01.2022 A few years back I met this amazing lady with a sad story of losing the use of her limbs in a surgery gone wrong, leaving her a quadriplegic. After sharing my ...story of spending time skiing in Alaska she told me that it was also her dream to go helisking in Alaska before her disability. I felt like I had the contacts to put the logistics in place and Black Ops Valdez was happy to help. The story of SJ and her son Hamish is one of determination and strength to overcome the hurdles that were put in front of them. 14.01.2022 Just wanted to let people know that we have decided to leave Cooma’s new trails open. A few of the berms are a bit loose so please be respectful. Also the new jumps line is in and ripping. Paul

06.01.2022 Attention all high intermediate to advanced mtbers who have been waiting to ride Cooma's 2 new and until now closed black Trails. We have decided to open both trails until after the long weekend (Tuesday) to press and ride the dusty new surface in. We have been testing the trails today and all jumps drops and gulley gaps are riding really well for their first ride. ... Please appreciate and respect these new trails and please do not intentionally skid or try to rip up these trails.
