23.01.2022 New flag poles have been installed outside our new buildings on Wolseley Grove. We think they look magnificent especially on a day like today. Drive by and have a look.
23.01.2022 Att: Batesford lunch orders There seems to be a bit of confusion around Batesford lunch orders tomorrow. Batesford students can order their lunch each week. Mrs Hasset will pick the orders up just after 9am and will also deliver them when ready at lunchtime. Every other week orders will need to be in by Thursday afternoon to either James or Pat.
21.01.2022 FYI Victorian schools will return on-site with the same health and safety measures that were in place on Friday 12 February. Face masks From 11.59pm Wednesday 17 February, consistent with advice for the broader community, school staff when not teaching, visitors, parents/carers and secondary school students aged 12 or older, must wear a face mask at school, unless an exception applies:... - in all indoor spaces - in all outdoor spaces when 1.5m physical distance cannot be maintained. Please also check in using the QR codes on the entry gates if you are on the school premises for longer than 15 minutes. Thanks you.

19.01.2022 The beginning of the school year can sometimes cause a heightened sense of anxiety in children. Throw in a snap lockdown and matters can escalate for some. This simple breathing technique may just help.

17.01.2022 Important information regarding our Meet and Greet evenings Dear parents and carers, This week (Wednesday and Thursday) we will hold our Meet and Greet Parent/Teacher Interviews for 2021.... Please be aware of the time you have booked with your child's teacher and allow time beforehand to complete the Covid check-in using the QR codes located on each entry gate. All visitors to our site on either night must check-in. To do so successfully you will need the Services Victoria app (pic of the app is attached). Batesford parents who need to go between campuses will need to sign in at both as the check-ins are location specific. We are also asking that parent/carers please wait outside until a couple of minutes before your meeting to avoid congestion in hallways and foyers etc and density limits apply and must be adhered to. We appreciate your understanding as always and look forward to seeing you all at our Meet and Greet evenings. Kind regards, Tim Callaghan
16.01.2022 Well it is a great morning as we can return to school tomorrow (Thursday18th February). Restrictions Stage 4 have been lifted in Victoria after our short 5 day lockdown. If staying longer th...an 15 minutes all parents need to use the QR code on the Ernest and Wolseley Grove gates o Parents who wish to speak to the class teacher need to make contact via DoJo or phone call to the school. o Gates will be locked after school so we ask all parents to collect their child/children and exit the school in a timely manner o Icy poles will still be for sale on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Term 1 &4 o The canteen will operate again this Friday 19th February o Batesford students will return to the Batesford campus tomorrow(Thursday 18th February) and then attend the Rollins Campus on Friday 19th February for specialists programs o Meet and Greet meetings will still go ahead next Wednesday and Thursday as planned Again, many thanks to all our parent community for their support over the past 3 days- you are amazing. 13.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder that any parents wanting access to the school grounds at any time other than at drop off or pick up times are required to call the office from the main gate on Wolseley Grove. Please do not enter the school grounds. Thank you, we appreciate your support of these procedures.

12.01.2022 Another great addition to be inducted into the Rollins Spoonville today. How fitting being the great Patty Dangerfield before the Cats big game on Saturday night. Fantastic effort Baxter (Grade 1) on this creation. Just a reminder too about Footy Colours Day next Thursday, 22nd. Can't wait to see all the blue and white (and other colours I suppose).
11.01.2022 ***UPDATE*** The second hand sale was hugely successful and will return next term at some stage. Sory to those that missed the one today. Next time will feature a morning and afternoon session. This also acts as a friendly reminder to ensure that your child's clothing is named and labelled as best as possible too. ... Second hand clothing store open this morning from 8:30 in the Sensory Room located old brick building left of ramp. Clothing in great condition at ridiculous prices. Cash sales only. Note: There will be an afternoon session but details will be announced soon.

01.01.2022 Parliament is in session! What a wonderful way to showcase the learning our 5/6s have made about their Government Unit by holding a mock session of Parliament. Absolutely brilliant! All members spoke with such poise and confidence. Some very convincing arguments for one day a week casual clothes too .
