17.01.2022 These two :) Two epic women, one epic friendship... Have a listen x

14.01.2022 The perfect time. The perfect plan. The perfect situation. The perfect execution. The perfect opportunity.... These are some of the elusive things we wait around for. Likely the catalyst for procrastination? At some point, taking action is a better plan than waiting for a better plan. Maybe not always... but often. Why are we waiting anyway? The time will never be 'right'. Just start. The plan can always be better, but it will evolve faster when you take action and learn on the move. Of course we all fear failure a tad, but it's also where we learn the most valuable lessons. And just maybe, we are actually somewhat scared that we will succeed... and that might be scary as f*ck. Ah well... #DoTheThing

12.01.2022 The Wordsmith Craig Harper. Always an insightful bit of banter.

09.01.2022 EPISODE 84 DROPPED Like sands through the hourglass aye... 1440 minutes.... That's how many you get in a day. That's how many I get in a day. That's how many Bruce at the corner store gets in a day. There's no 'time bank' where you can earn more, buy more or borrow someone else's. This is an awesome chataroo with one of my favourite flannel wearing humans Craig Harper where we talk all things time. Time perception... Time management... Time usage... Time optimisation... And then of course, like the two f*ckers that can't keep on track that we are, we head off route talking all sorts of philosophical life, psychology and human stuff.

05.01.2022 "But, I have to *fill in the blank*." The blank might be: Work this job. Do this course.... Get this promotion. Live in this suburb. Maintain this friendship. Play this sport. Live/work/do life this way. Do you? No really, do you? Have you even asked yourself WHY? Is it true? Is it fact? Or, is it a story in your head? Does it serve YOUR values? Or does it just fit with what others expect of you? Their expectations, their beliefs, their social ideologies. Does the reward outweigh the risk? Does the risk outweigh the reward? Have you even considered the RISK of staying the same? Sometimes the "yeah but I have to..." is the thing that holds us back. Maybe you DO have to... But maybe you DON'T... Maybe you should ask yourself these questions. I did. I always will. #WorkInProgress

04.01.2022 Change comes at a cost. Be it money, time, discomfort, emotions, relationships. You have to pay in one way or another, which is usually the reason (aka excuse) for sitting on the fence, saying 'one day' and essentially staying the same. But what's the cost of staying the same?... And when will we stop paying the rather hefty price of that? #FoodForThought
