05.05.2022 My first market for the year! I’m so excited to be seeing people face to face again. This is my first time at Eden Gardens, which is also super exciting. It’s the most beautiful plant nursery that also has the most amazing display gardens with stunning Aussie natives, including some native fauna as well! I’m bringing all my freshly made plates & bowls in various sizes all featuring my beloved Aussie native flowers. ... So put March 13 in your diary to come & gather up all your favourite Aussie natives - from the garden & my ceramics! Rxx . . . . #romandaceramics #edengardens #australiannativeflowers See more
20.04.2022 Out for a walk after the rain. I spotted these delightful banksias hiding away on the edge of our local sports field. A fabulous surprise. I love how the tree trunks glisten in the rain & the colours deepen. I just wish I could convey the divine scent of the towering lemon gum eucalyptus trees that lingers in the air. ... All these photos were taken in my local parks & streets. It’s wonderful to just wander around without any agenda & take in all the local beauty. Do you have a lot of Australian native plants in your neighbourhood? Rxx . . . . #beautywalk #flowerlover #australiannativeplants See more
05.04.2022 Spotted this completely gorgeous Grevillea while on a bushwalk recently. Just kidding I can’t handle all the bugs in the bush. Instead, I took myself on a beauty walk along my local streets & saw this beautiful Grevillea bush growing over someone’s walled fence. It’s amazing what stunning nature you can see in suburbia when you really start looking . I’d love to hear what local beauties are growing in your area? Any suggestions for what I should press into my cla...y next? Enjoy your next walk wherever you are. Rxx . . . . #localwalk #beautywalk #keeplooking See more
28.03.2022 Gum Blossoms I discovered during my afternoon walk. I was feeling a little bit down, so I took myself on a walk to clear my head, & then seeing these amazing blossoms really cheered me right up. And my favourite colour too. I’m always amazed how a walk in nature can make you feel better about pretty much anything. Perhaps it’s because everything gets put into perspective - nature always prevails & makes our problems look insignificant. In case you’re wondering, I ...don’t have any bushland or national parks near me. I just admire & absorb the nature I find in my local suburban streets & parks. So wherever you are, just start looking & you’ll discover the beauty & healing energy of nature all around you. Rxx . . . . #natureheals #beautyallaround See more

23.01.2022 Insta Brains Trust I need your help . Can anyone tell me the names of these 2 plants? I’ve recently pressed both of them into my clay & they create gorgeous patterns. Now I’d love to know what they’re called. I think the white flower is a tiny type of Flannel flower. It looks very much like the rare pink ones that appeared in the Blue Mtns earlier this year. I love flora, but clearly I’m not very knowledgeable on their names. Any help is much appreciated. ... . . . . . #helpappreciated #botanicalart See more

13.01.2022 Turn the sound up loud to hear the avalanche of my trimmings. Too funny. Yes, I’m experimenting with my videos this week & think this slo-mo video is great fun. 11.01.2022 When firing up the kiln it’s always a good idea to cross you fingers - anything could happen while it heats up to 1000 degrees & then cools down again. So happy that this 1st (bisque) firing went well. No cracks or breakages. Yes, it happens sometimes. This fragile process makes every piece of successful pottery so precious. ... . . . . #potteryprocess #wipart #preciousthings See more
08.01.2022 When did you last go, Wow when you saw a plant??? That was me when I spotted this Crinum Jagus flower from Africa in the Royal Botanic Garden. The fact that it was cold, raining, & my husband wanted to leave, was not going to stop me from snapping this photo. Yes, I know, sometimes I’m a bit crazy , but it was so worth it. When you see something amazing, just pause a moment to really appreciate it. Nature is so rewarding.... . . . . . #crazyflowerlady #iloveflowers #ilovenature See more

30.12.2021 Thank you so much to everyone who braved the rainy weather today & came to the inaugural Eramboo Christmas market. I had such a great day having the opportunity to show my ceramics plus my amazing daughter helped me out all day, which was wonderful (she took these photos). I met so many beautiful people, made new friends, chatted with old friends, met Instagram friends (yes, that’s you @sharris_rocks )... I even had a fan girl moment meeting the gorgeous & extremely talented @juliallcorn who also bought my ceramics. I felt so honoured I’m sure I was blushing. Of course the biggest thank you goes to Sally @erambooart who organised the entire event. I can’t begin to imagine how much time & effort she put in to make this happen. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you I wish everyone a happy & safe holiday season.
