16.01.2022 IN THE TRENCHES In my pre baby days When i used to overhear people describing mothers as in the trenches I honestly thought it was a bit of an exaggeration, i mean they’re only children, how hard could it be? BLOODY HARD! I would now like to give my pre baby self a cool stare and a glimpse into life with two under two. For those of you that are also in the trenches I see you.... This is a reminder to keep doing what ever you need to do to survive. Let your toddler have toast for dinner because it’s all they’ll eat. Let them watch a few hours of wiggles so you can nap on the sofa with the baby. Let he baby sleep in your bed so those 3am feeds disturb you both a little less and leave the washing pile for one more day just because. It’ll be over soon and you’ll come out of the other end with little humans that take themselves to the toilet and draw you cute pictures of stick men. See more

Packing got a little hectic towards the end and I had so many fantastic helpers boxing up... It’s taken me till today to open every last box from the move. The last box wasn’t one that I was planning to open for quite a while as it was labelled Wine In desperation I ripped it open with a gardening trowel and there they were. 01.01.2022 INNER VOICE It took me a while to photograph the new stock after having Lilah. I don’t know about you but I have this little voice in my head and she’s often quite mean. Why would any one want to buy clothes shown on a squishy post baby mum bod?... My answer to that mean little voice is my body has done amazing things Post baby your confidence in your body can be pretty bloody low and scrolling through websites full of 18yr old size 6’s doesn’t help. When I look at this picture I see all the bad bits, but when Luke looks at it he sees me pre babies, smiling and enjoying the sunshine. If you do one thing today please just tell your mean little voice to shut up for the day and enjoy the amazing things your body has done.
