18.01.2022 Day one recap of our 1800km listening tour of farming, mining and tourism communities in Queensland with Senator Anthony Chisholm. If the national economy is to recover strongly, regional economies like these need to be a big part of the story.

16.01.2022 Bob Hawke passed away one year ago today. Thank you Bob. His legacy won’t be forgotten. In February 1984, Bob Hawke announced Medicare, Australia's enduring, a...ffordable, universal system of healthcare. A transformative policy that's improved the health and lives of millions of Australians with an essential service. See more

09.01.2022 ARE YOU STICKING WITH ANNASTACIA? If you're sticking with Annastacia, can you help us get this image into EVERY POSTCODE in Queensland this weekend by shari...ng it on your profile and letting your friends know why you're on Team QLD? There's just over a week left until voting closes - and we need your help to cut through Clive Palmer's lies so that we can keep delivering our Economic Recovery Plan and protecting QLD jobs. Let's do this #TeamQLD!

08.01.2022 BREAKING: Here's our back to school plan for Queensland students. Students in Kindy, Prep, Year 1, Year 11 and Year 12 will return to school on May 11, while s...tudents in Years 2 to 10 will continue remote learning at home. We will review the situation on May 15, with the goal to return the remaining students on May 25 if low COVID-19 transmission rates continue. Children of essential workers and vulnerable children are still able to attend school. A sensible and gradual return is only possible because of Queensland’s success in slowing the spread of COVID-19. Compare our efforts to what has happened in other parts of the world and Queenslanders should feel very proud. Keep up the good work! #coronavirus

05.01.2022 BREAKING: Queensland school students will learn at home for the first five weeks of Term 2, with schools only open for the children of essential workers. The mo...ve to the home-based learning model starts on Monday, 20 April and will be in place until at least Friday, 22 May. All students who can learn from home are to stay at home. School staff, unless they are vulnerable due to medical conditions, will continue to teach from the classroom to ensure continuity of learning for students. Children of essential workers and vulnerable children can continue to attend school. This is another very difficult decision, but it is the right one for Queensland while we continue to slow the spread of COVID-19. #coronavirusaustralia

04.01.2022 Is anyone able to hand out How to Vote cards on Saturday? Or take some to Injune, Wallumbilla or Yuleba?

01.01.2022 This is Peter Dutton. This pig who walked out during the National Apology to the Aboriginal people of Australia. The same pig who when he was working as a pol...ice officer, he rounded up several Aboriginal boys, put them in the back of the paddy wagon, He then drove them far, far away from where they lived, drove them to an isolated place, removed their shoes and told them to get out of the paddy wagon and walk and find their way home. He was slapped on the wrist for the offence of kidnapping Aboriginal children and abandoning them. His work colleagues left tins of dog food on his desk as resignation ‘gifts’ as that’s what they thought of what he’d done. And this guy is running to be the next Prime Minister of Australia. IS THIS WHO YOU WANT RUNNING OUR COUNTRY? See more
