Former hometown cowboy Jamie Howlett who now calls Rapid City South Dakota USA home has certainly worked hard to make his dream of qualifying for the world finals in the bareback event come true. With the 2020 rodeo season now closed Jamie is sitting 6th in the world going into the PRCA National Finals Rodeo which will now be held in Texas 3rd - 12th December 2020.. Congratulations Jamie!!!

14.01.2022 EASTER MESSAGE FROM REITC COMMITTEE!!! It is with very heavy hearts tonight that the Easter in the Country Committee is committed to social isolation this Easter weekend. We would normally be in the middle of our wonderful opening event of Outback Tucker Under the Stars with our dear friends Matt Golinski and Glen Barram and right now enjoying the wonderful atmosphere of the full moon and lovely autumn weather. While we are not denying this cancellation has cost us we have... realised how the festival is important to our community and how we are really missing it in 2020. We are already planning for 2021 and would like everyone to join us on 1 April 2021 when we can assure you we will have the best festival we can stage and will certainly have your favourites back with us. Hadley Griffith, the youngest granddaughter of Eddie & Karen Gill of Gill Bros Rodeo Company has many of them to call her own but they just happen to be the larger version & this morning she was out checking on them at their home of Campfire Upper Horton NSW. These horses are certainly looking in great condition while having a longer than usual break from the rodeo trail due to the pandemic and we cannot wait to see them make the journey to Roma for the 2021 Easter Pro Rodeo. #gillbrosrodeo #7thgenerationcowgirl
