12.01.2022 The elephant yam, the most unusual flower in the parkland, is in bloom in the rainforest! Native to northern Australia, New Guinea and India, the flower only lasts for 2 weeks. It doesn’t flower every year, the last time it did was 2014. There are also two plants in the Spectacle Garden which are not as advanced, but will bloom soon. Visitors beware, the flower is a bit smelly! This is to attract pollinating insects. #romastreetparkland
