Proposa...ls opened up discussion of connection between mission and property management, releasing funds to serve missional work, and clarifying our ecumenical and interfaith endeavours. 13.01.2022 We are in interesting times aren't we!??? I have just finished Hosting a KYB Bible Study with the ladies of Wallumbilla - and I have to say, it was FANASTIC!!!! Zoom has so many ways of being utilised!! So, everyone..........put your thinking caps on........how would you like to "connect" in this way. We have had our Church Council meeting this way, and I personally hosted a evening with my Sewing Lady Friends as we sat and sewed........let's use this medium is new and exciting ways........thoughts please!!!! 11.01.2022 We are blest to have Qld Synod prepare and share with us in what would normally be "Chaplaincy Sunday". Please pray for all the Chaplains - both locally and in other places - who are called to do "the hard yards" at times. May this Reflection serve to remind us of their hard work, and to know God's Grace is in all things.

Give Us This Day Our Daily Gratitude That I have been given one more day, I give thanks.... That the birds still sing each morning, impossibly early outside my window, I give thanks. For the sun rising once again in the East, I give thanks. That for this day I have bread, I give thanks. For drinkable water, for breathable air, and Dairy Queen dipped cones I give thanks. For one more day of mobility I give thanks. For novelists who create worlds and characters and stories for our minds and not for our TVs, I give thanks. For the puppy I got at the beginning of quarantine who is currently destroying my life, I give thanks. For cell phone reception, and I-guess-its-better-than-nothing ZOOM calls and reliable internet service, I give thanks. That I am loved, I give thanks That I am forgiven, I give thanks. That I am alive, I give thanks. That you, O God are known by many names, I give thanks. That you, O God are present when I feel only your absence I give thanks. That you are God and I am not, I give the most thanks. Forgive me when I forget that one. And for every other gift I am too self-obsessed to see, but that totally comes from you -Thank you. Not really! Let's donate it to SCHOOL CHAPLAINCY........ so friends, if anyone has wanted to stock up on a fave item, or like me, was amazed at the new stuff out (haven't seen it for years......love the water bottles!) 31ST OCTOBER, 10AM at the Lions Den Roma....... or ring me on 0417 023 112 for a brochure or to place your order!!!
