21.01.2022 Dreaming of holidays right now! My family was meant to be off to Italy in May, witnessing my beautiful sister in law’s wedding. The wedding has been postponed to 2021 (gosh we hope that’s a better year all round!). It’s not often you get the extended family together on an o/s trip - so we cannot wait to make some memories in a year! Until then.....we are dreaming of where we’ll go post #viclockdown. We’ve had some beautiful hints of which are just glorious - today the playgrounds re-opened which the kids will be super excited about. I feel the weeks are short but the months are long. I have now been within the constraints of our home since March. I have a checklist of things to do post lockdown. 10.01.2022 This isn’t just true for coffee! I literally feel like this is the same for any hot drink - i.e. the ‘iced tea’ I’m holding in my hand right now. Meals that are constantly lukewarm ....because after the 4,000 requests from the kids....extra cheese, cut this up, I need a napkin, I don’t want this [insert green vegetable here]. We are patiently awaiting our new collection samples from Turkey, unfortunately everything is taking a little longer with COVID! So hopefully I’ll be able to do some sneak peeks soon (keep an out)! In other news, we are SO over it here in Victoria! There’s been a little glimmer of hope on the weekend with the announcements of retail and hairdressing opening up (about time, because it’s REALLY hard to wash lo...ng, thick curly hair with 9 fingers [1 broken]). So hairdresser & brow appointment booked (HAPPY DAYS). Verrryyy excited to eat out at a restaurant soon as well, and then travel back to the farm at some later (unknown) stage. I hope the rest of the states are back to feeling normal (or at least semi-normal).
