21.01.2022 WELCOME: DR. MICHAEL BARRETT Michael joined Romsey Medical in February 2021, graduated as a doctor in 2012 and is working towards becoming a Specialist GP. He enjoys the variety of general practice with particular interest in preventative health care, chronic disease management, men's health, LGBT+ health, mental health, addiction management and has a Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine. He is originally from Northern Ireland and relocated to Australia in 2014. Michael enjoys travel, eating out and spending time with his cat, Archie." Dr Michael will BULK BILL all patients.

The test is free if you have symptoms. If you show no symptoms but still wish to have the test there may be a fee from the pathology centre of $108. A doctor will discuss any cost to you on the telephone before you come. The test is done beside the centre in your car by a doctor in full PPE, so you dont need to leave t...he comfort of your car. There is little wait time and this testing happens every week day afternoon. PLEASE REMEMBER: Romsey Medical welcomes patients for face to face consultations. The practice is cleaned numerous times a day to meet high hygiene standards, social distancing is maintained at all times and there is hand sanitizer at the front door for you to use upon entry. Vaccinations will be administered to eligible patients in your car upon arrival and a 15 minute stay in our car park after the vaccination will be required for your health and wellbeing. The Department of Health recommends vaccinating from mid - April as influenza usually occurs from June with the peak in August.
