21.01.2022 Today should have been the start of what we think is the most exciting part of our showing season. We would have started our 14 Ag show run at Yarrawonga. I know all Victorians will miss these shows and we hope to see them back up and running next year. It’s always exciting starting our new horses and seeing other people’s new and exciting horses. Im sure we can all agree these shows are great fun and we enjoy being on the road with clients and friends. ... We are going to truely miss staying with our great friends at Langtree Stud. Let’s hope our case numbers can continue to decline and the health of people improve so we can get back to a little normality in Victoria. Good luck to the other state’s that are out and about showing let’s hang in there Victoria so we can join them soon. See more

19.01.2022 With Victoria being put into a ‘State of Disaster’ it comes as no surprise as one of our favourite Shows the EA Nationals has to be postponed. I for one was hanging on to a tiny bit of hope, along with my clients and other qualified competitors for the event to be held. This is not the end, we need to stick together as an equestrian community and look to the future. With boarders shut and interstate travel on hold it’s up to us within our states to continue to support each ...other and keep our sport alive. It’s fantastic to see other states having competitions and I’m sure when the time is right we will be able to start competing again in Victoria too. So please get behind and support any organisations within your states that are working hard to run competitions. This isn’t the time to drop our training and motivation we have time to work towards our goals. It hurts me when I read it’s all about the ribbon NO it’s NOT we compete in a sport that we love and we work hard and the ribbon is a reward for our effort. Keep safe everyone and let’s work together. Heather is a Certified Level 1 & 2 Member of the World Wide Association for Equine Dentistry Australasian. She has been the Sectretary for this Association for over 13 years. ... Heathers accumulated 21 years in full time practice as an equine dentist has exposed her to numerous equine dental anatomical and pathological issues that require advanced knowledge and equipment to regain equine dental function and improved performance. I personally have gained a much greater understanding and appreciation for the importance of professional full mouth Equine Dentistry over the years Heather has been our dentist. Horses dentition, is checked and treated if required when they arrive at Romsey Park to ensure we can achieve the best results for our owners and their horses. However, we like to have all our performance horses rotate onto an annual Equine Dental Program that occurred just before we commence there preparation for the coming performance season. Over the years lve certainly been encouraged by Heather to roll up my sleeve and explore what’s behind the horses lips with my hand. Through doing this, l have acquired a much more comprehensive and practical understanding and appreciation of how important Equine Dentistry is to ensure we can achieve the results we have. You would be surprised what Heather finds and shows me. Thankyou Heather for ensuring all our horses obtain the best from their feed and are comfortable and happy when bridled and ridden.
