25.01.2022 A small number of brave players competed in the Wednesday club competition of Texas Ambrose. For most of the round there was thick misty fog, which made locating long and off centre balls a bit tricky. Results Winning pair Darlene Baker (21) Rob Slade (21) 80-10.5-69.5 from Wendy Gosden (28) Jenny Hartley (24) 90-13-77

24.01.2022 Out on the course today Andy Alford from Squared Away Civil was valuable in assisting Mal continuing with the leveling and drainage works on the 6th Hobbs Trenching and Boring made life much easier putting the additional irrigation pipes in the ground. Thank you to Ron Walker who is overseeing the irrigation component of the project and the members who have been assisting him.

24.01.2022 A lovely calm evening for the Twilight Competition. Scoring was very good across the field of 8 players with the top five playing under or to their handicap. 18.01.2022 Great to see many players on course today enjoying the beautiful spring weather for Saturday competition with 25 players and some green fee players earlier on. Many of the club players in the competition had been very active on the course over the past week with the irrigation and earthworks program. 06.01.2022 Vale Dean Jones AO The President, Committee and Members of Romsey Golf Club are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of long-term member Dean Jones OA. Dean was 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2017 Club Champion and a member of 2002 and 2010 RGC successful DDGA Division 2 Scratch pennant teams. The club will miss his competitiveness, passion, enthusiasm, generosity, willingness to encourage young players and positive attitude to our plans and works to improve both the course and Rom...sey Park.
