10.01.2022 During the Last Post Ceremony at the Australian War Memorial yesterday the late Kevin Dasher Wheatley VC was remembered and acknowledged. With generous suppo...rt from Richard Rolfe, Dr Brendan Nelson presented a replica Victoria Cross made from lead from the European battlefields to Mrs Edna Wheatley. This VC was crafted by artist Ron Davis founder of Battlefield Blue. The Victoria Cross was presented on behalf of Cam’s Cause and Battlefield Blue. Our Governor General David Hurley and Mrs Hurley were present. Kerry Stokes, who ensured the lead landed in Australia, also witnessed the presentation of VC #93.

10.01.2022 Thank you Michaela for your kind words and support, thank you for your kind donation its very much appreciated, and every little helps with the Battlefield Blue awareness project..Hopefully next year Battlefield Blue will go on a National Tour with a new Van to show support and help organisations raise funds with the Battlefield Blue for our returned veterans, first responders and all that suffer the Battle within..
