24.01.2022 We have a target of 50,000 members by Christmas. I have spoken to many supporters who aren't members. I am sure each of you know others as well. If each of us gets one person to join then we can hit this number out of the park. Let's do this together. This is one of the many ways we fast track becoming the #1 club again. Remember too, if you are a member you need to vote.
20.01.2022 With only a few days left before the EFC Board election closes, if you haven't voted yet please consider doing so. It is awesome for the club that you support it financially by being a member but remember that you also have an important role to play in shaping the make up of the board. The role of the board & its directors is critical to our future. Having the right people with the right skills & experience is what is needed to becoming the biggest, strongest & most successful club again. Every vote counts yet less than 10% of members vote. 05.01.2022 Calling all EFC members to vote from when the election process opens tomorrow. We need every vote to count so please make sure you get in and vote. There are those supporters who think that because we have achieved so much this year, that nothing needs to change. For the Bombers to be at our strongest we need to continue to add strength on the board as we do when we recruit players on the team. So why vote for me: *I am committed to the club that I was have supported all my l...ife and am passionate about *I am a qualified Company Director with significant board experience *I bring skill sets across a variety of areas that give us significantly more than what we have on the board today *My skills, relationships and personality are such that I complement members of the current board which will improve the bench strength of our board. *Finally, I understand what members expect from their club's officials and I am committed to exceeding those expectations. *I certainly share their passion in wanting to become a powerhouse club once more. What can you expect from me as a Director if elected? At Board Level: * I promote open and honest discussion around the entire table. * I ensure that there is a sound strategy and that it is followed and executed as per the plan * I challenge people to think and make informed not emotional decisions To The Executive: The role of the board is to support the executive team, making sure that the resources, tools and processes are in place to allow Xavier, the CEO and his team to deliver the success that is expected. It is not to play a hands on role but rather to support, challenge and oversee. To the Members: Those who know me from my Storm days will know that I love to engage with the members. I would often walk around the stadium and sit with members to make sure I was hearing first hand what their experiences were. We need to listen and deliver value to our members. We represent them so to do that effectively we need to understand and then deliver. That could be everything from membership packages and merchandise to game day experiences to listening to grievances. Sponsors: I have an extensive corporate network so if I can leverage that to the benefit of the club & its executives which can only be a good thing. I have been involved in some of the most complex negotiations and I understand how the commercial world works. I know that this experience is certainly leveraged by the other boards I sit on. I know what brings sponsors value in return for their investment. Players and Football Department: One of the roles of the board is to protect the interests of the employees including the players and coaches. We need to ensure that they have what they need to be successful. It is not to interfere with the strategies, selections and decisions of the football department. They need our support and to know that we have their interests and well being as a priority. Remember to make your vote count from tomorrow. See more

01.01.2022 Congratulations to Xavier, Justin and others involved on this great decision. The eSports market place is going to be huge and investing in this space is a wise move. I have been working with some players in this space for some time so I know its potential. As a sporting club we need to explore these alternate revenue streams to continue to stay ahead of the market. The major sporting bodies globally have already endorsed eSports as an offical sport with almost 1Bill people globally participating in some form or another. Go eBombers!
