23.01.2022 I am Not a minority. I have first world privileges. I don’t see another brown person going through something and think, oh that could’ve been me. ... Even if it is being president, a successful entrepeneur, or even if it is struggling to breathe on a pavement being arrested. I don’t forget the platforms built for me by others who worked to let me be free of worries of food, water, clothes & shelter... so that I can free to think and express. Who have built the technology so I can write this. Who have given me education and love to learn & live from. I don’t see a black, white, brown or yellow (that isn’t a skin colour btw people) except for when I’m on stage and can make a joke about my race that’ll make people laugh by the sheer uncomfortable nature of what I just said. Because it is usually something they’ve thought but never said. If you see a white person you don’t agree with and you are one, that doesn’t mean anything If you see a black person that becomes president, you still have to put in the work to get there. You are not a minority. If we look in the wrong room, we might see people that disagree with us, and when we feel misunderstood we can see that as being a minority. But ... we are all one. This divides. PS ... Also, there are over a billion Indian people. If I add the other brown people on the planet to that we are a majority.
