07.01.2022 If a problem seems too big (climate change) I’ve heard the best thing is to look after your own patch. What is going on in my house? We have started using grey water on the garden, always refill the bird baths, especially in really hot weather we put ice cubes in, got bigger bird baths. We had 20 birds of all different species huddled together there on the 47 degree day - galahs, magpies, lorikeets and tiny gorgeous bright green birds I’ve never seen here before. It’s heartbreaking. At home we are doing a bit of a Konmarie, sorting out plastics, trying to limit our plastics and dropping off the good stuff at vinnies. It’s hard with kids. But we look after our own patch and if everyone does the same we will be taking care of many animals and ourselves. What are you guys doing at your place?
06.01.2022 Hey guys. Sending you all much love during this unbelievably difficult time in human history. Just to let you know I have stopped international orders for now. Australian orders still okay. As much as I’m feeling scared about this I also am trying to centre myself by hugging the dog, singing, cleaning (kitchen is very clean lol), watching Bluey on tv and homeschooling. It’s okay and it’s not okay and we will get through this! Stay safe, be kind to yourself and stay in. Love
