05.01.2022 Leaf Guard, what leaf guard should I buy, this is one of the most commonly asked questions I receive, when it comes to leaf protection there are lots of different types out on the market and choosing the right one is hard, it dose not mater what sort of leaf guard you put on, your gutters will still require cleaning out, as no leaf guard can stop dust and small objects from passing through. So to answer the question the best type on the market is a screener it attaches to the... front of the gutter with a small L trim and then is fix to a metal roof with a fixing saddle or goes under the second row of tiles if you have a tiled roof, this type creates a slop to allow leafs to blow off, it comes in aluminium and PVC, it is important to choose the type that has the trim on the front as so you can remove it easily to clean out or repair your gutters, there are some screeners on the market that glue down this making it hard to accesses the gutter with out doing damage to both the leaf guard and the gutters and roof.
