22.01.2022 Not long now until this year's Wildflower Show

21.01.2022 Have arranged to get the carpets cleaned (again). They were only done in November but sadly some of our guests don't remove their outdoor footwear and trample dirt into the house :-(

20.01.2022 If you are lucky and watch the visitors to the garden late afternoon or early evening you could see one of the local red-necked wallabies. This one has a "pinkie" (very young joey) on board.

20.01.2022 Well August came and went and now it looks more like October or November before we will be able to take bookings - watch this space!

19.01.2022 Local emus come visiting. Not Dad with four chicks this time. Maybe last years chicks all grown up?

17.01.2022 Well the coffee pod machine died (again) so we bit the bullet and replaced it with a new DeLonghi espresso machine - bring along your favourite coffee beans next time you visit :-)

16.01.2022 We visited Roos ourselves recently to do a few odd jobs, and while there saw a male Emu with nine chicks - boy has he got his hands (claws?) full.

15.01.2022 Father emu and four almost grown up chicks came to visit yesterday. Perhaps they were getting one more look at the house with it's current colour, going green in May

10.01.2022 Visiting Roos with View and boy is it hot out there tonight - about 37C. Not too bad in the lounge with the air-con on though, although a cool change would be welcome and a little more rain than the 2 second shower we had :-) Saw two beautiful little birds having a drink from the kangaroos water bucket. I think they were White-naped Honeyeaters but they took flight before I could take a photo.

10.01.2022 Well restrictions have eased a little but we are having the decking replaced and so won't be able to take bookings until mid July.

08.01.2022 Looking forward to visiting in spring when the wildflowers are out and the weather as improved,

08.01.2022 The outside of the house has been repainted a really nice shade of green called Wilderness, and it looks very smart. We have also replaced the DVD player (again) and got a new coffee machine. Not a pod machine as the last two broke and the new one is more environmentally friendly.
