24.01.2022 Nick names!! The new beast needs a matching nick name! We need ideas. There truly is no stump this thing won’t eat. 14 large eucalyptus stumps in 40 minutes and 15 pine stumps in 15 minutes, seeing as it’s so quick where doing discounted prices on jobs with multiple stumps.... 21.01.2022 Another soil injection - this time we are improving soil and tree health with a fish and kelp mixture. The stuff stinks but the trees will thank us for it.

18.01.2022 What a start to the week! Back out installing glossy black cockatoo nesting hollows and we managed to spot one near us, considering these guys are as rare as hens teeth it without a doubt got everyone on site excited. Unfortunately we were in to much shock to think off getting our phones out in time. This was the last of the local ones done, next week we are off to Mallacoota for the final 15!

17.01.2022 Hedges will always be something that nobody loves doing. We are hoping to change that while saving our clients $$$$ 1.8m hedging bar with the ability to cut horizontal at 2.5m high. Hopefully higher with some modifications.... Stay tuned for the videos of this thing in action

15.01.2022 The crew will be working in the Mallacoota area next week and there is a chance that we may have excess logs and mulch that we will need to get rid off. If you live in a Mallacoota and would be interested in getting some logs or mulch please send me an inbox.

12.01.2022 Such a shame for these people - but that’s why you hire an arborist and not a lopper and you ask for insurance. Cheapest price isn’t always the best price. Now these poor guys might be forking out 100s of thousands to fix their home.

11.01.2022 Hiring Roots 2 leaves tree services is still seeking staff. We currently have positions available to start in the new year as ground crew workers. Applicants must be hard working, physically fit, quick thinkers, respectful and able to work Efficiently and safely. Positions are casual leading to full time for the right applicant. The roles are for groundsman which involves the following duties.... OHS duties Dragging branches Running ropes/rigging. Chainsaw operation Chipper operation/fuelling & sharpening. Stump grinder operation Skid steer operation. Plus more. Minimum tickets. Cert 3 (not required but will help) Drivers license or truck license. Chainsaw ticket. Experience in the industry will be a bonus. We can arrange for skid steer tickets if applicants don’t have them. 09.01.2022 This things is simply unstoppable!! Took out some big stumps today with a out single complaint from The Beast.

08.01.2022 First run with the avant hedge trimmer attachment. Massive time saving on sides but will need some adjustments in order to do the tops of these monster hedges. But for the first time I haven’t come home from doing this property’s hedges feeling like my arms are going to fall off so that’s a win!!

06.01.2022 Feeling like a spring day today. We are out and about starting our elm leaf beetle treatments. First on the list today is peter Murray funeral homes. There elms have never looked so good since starting their treatment 3 years ago

04.01.2022 Been a little while since I’ve thrown the old harness on but just had to be part of this great project. Working along side bird life australia installing glossy black cockatoo habitats. There has been a lot of prep work involved in this one but well worth it.

04.01.2022 Tightest fit to date. 10mm clearance. 15 minutes to get in and out of the job site. 30 seconds to remove a 30cm stump.

02.01.2022 Well that’s my good deed done for this weekend. Neighbour had a dog run down a wombat hole and after being in there for 3 days he thought she was a goner. Went to go help try and find her body friday afternoon and by some miracle we found her still alive. One lucky puppy. Nathan Terrill (Oh and mind the language in the video)
