23.01.2022 Days in the lives...

21.01.2022 One small step for Finn, one giant victory for the family!!

19.01.2022 No connection as great as the one with your twin

18.01.2022 There’s still time to donate. I’ll be walking next week. My biggest kid was a 34 week and my littlest 2 were 26 weekers. The amount that it cost per day for the medical needs of each one of these babies is phenomenal. I know for sure that without medical intervention I wouldn’t be sitting here today with 3 beautiful boys. ... Instead of that extra coffee this weekend, donate instead to Life’s Little Treasures. $10 gives a family a hospital survival guide. This was invaluable to me in my journey. Help support another family today!

14.01.2022 It's hard to believe that today should have been the day the boys turned one... their due date one year ago. This time last year we were still in NICU a month or so away from special care, 2.5 months away from being able to go home. Nowadays - the boys are doing great. Rory has 8 teeth, weighs roughly 9kg, is crawling around everywhere and pulls himself to stand on everything. (And gathering a few bruises along the way) Finn has cerebral palsy affecting his left side of hi...s body. He can roll over, sit up, and spin himself 360 on his back. He is just cutting his first tooth now, weighs around 10kg and grunts in the direction of things he wants you to get him. We are being kept very busy with physio appointments for Finn, ECDU playgroup and other general hospital appointments. Mike finished with his FIFO job last December, so has also been enjoying spending time with the family.

14.01.2022 Can’t believe these little dudes turn 2 in just 3 more sleeps!

13.01.2022 And we all thought Rory would be the first to walk... this kid is incredible!!

01.01.2022 I think often about updating this Facebook page, but I wait for something big to happen so I can tell the community about. But the truth is, every single day is something big. Every day a little achievement happens which makes me so happy and proud to be these boys’ mumma! Rory is standing on his own, cruising along furniture- I’m sure not far away from walking. He is still such a determined little boy, making sure everyone knows when he is unhappy or wants something! Bu...t watching him figure things out, and attempting to do things makes me so happy. Finn is doing incredible. He has started pulling himself to stand, and can stand supported for quite some time. He has picked up speed with his bottom shuffle, and the big exciting thing he has figured out this week is how to get himself to a sitting position from laying down. Huge achievement, and he looks so proud doing it! We are now seeing regular physio, OT and speech therapy for Finn and definitely seeing the progress he has made with this regular therapy. Next step is getting his new foot orthotics fitted to help him walking around. I have uploaded some photos too. It’s amazing how fast they grow!!
