31.03.2022 Well done to those of you who are doing ‘Dry July’ and raising money for charity. A big ‘well done’ to those who are challenging themselves just to achieve a ‘Dry July’. Alcohol plays a big part in our way of life. It has become ‘normal’ to have a few drinks after work, on the weekend, at events or just because we feel like it. Sometimes alcohol becomes the demon within and takes over our lives until we have no control over it and the urge to drink grows stronger and stronge...r until we become reliant on it. Giving up alcohol can be hard. If it is controlling your life, developing a strategy to minimising the impact is one way forward, or to achieve abstinence if that is your end goal. This is where I can help you or someone you love or know to look at their alcohol, or any other drug for the matter, habits.
